Congress has the power under Section 5 of the 14th Amendment and Section 2 of the 15th Amendment to enforce the fundamental right of every citizen to an equal vote. The House of Representatives has the power and moral authority to take the lead in protecting the right of Americans to an equal vote in the selection of the President. The House of Representatives should establish a Select Committee to take the following actions, among others: • Receive testimony from the public and from experts about the impact and distortions of the current Elector system; • Establish standards for the conduct of Presidential elections consistent with the 14th and 15th Amendments; • Endorse remedial steps to solve the problem, including the efforts of the National Popular Vote Project. • Propose and enact enabling legislation to empower federal official, state officials, or private citizens to challenge the impact of the current Electoral system • Report to Congress and the people no later than January 2020 with a plan and recommendations for change.

The Tuesday and Thursday 8 am and 9 am Aqua Spin Class participants have been taking the same Beginners class for the last several sessions because there is not an Intermediate Class. We feel that more advanced training at this point is necessary to obtain our individual desired goals. Closure of the GM Lordstown Assembly Plant would be a disaster for thousands of working families and scores of communities in NE Ohio. The most viable option to prevent plant closure is to echo the call by GM for a zero-emission future through mass production of long-range all-electric vehicles and call for the allocation of the cars of the future at Lordstown.
