I’m a resident of Texas. I vote in every election that I’m able. I’d like to see Ted Cruz meet Beto O’Rourke in this format. I feel it would be an open, honest exchange and I’m betting that I’m not the only one.

Everyone should be entitled to proper health care. A person should not have to choose health care over food. Haing health care would be preventing maintenance of a persons health. I believe that whether you are young or old you deserve the best of care. A person should not be denied medical attention or medicine because he or she can not afford to pay. I know this can be done if we work together. The University of Alabama is number one in football. Why can't we be number one in taking care the need of our healthcare?

We, the qualified electors who reside in the City of Pittsburgh request the Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh to conduct a public hearing and post agenda to ensure that the role of the EORC is being adhered to. The purpose of the meeting would be to invite MWDBE certified contractors where they can present to the EORC their experiences in working with the City and Developers around MWDBE opportunities. At the meeting they can share the results of their bidding opportunities as being under contract as a MWDBE certified contractor. If not under contract, did they hear back from the General Contractor and/or Developer with the reasons for not being selected? When contracts and/or subcontractors win the bid, are they getting contracts equal to what is being reported by the City MWDBE Office?

Many of us here in Camarillo are passionate about ensuring that we are good stewards of this earth, and know how how important it is to reduce our carbon emissions, which are devastating to our home planet. Choosing a 100% default helps more people and helps our environment.

Eric Blankenstein was put in charge of supervision, enforcement and fair lending at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. That means part of his job is making sure that financial companies do not discriminate in lending. Enbridge, a major pipeline company, wants to build a new tar sands pipeline in Minnesota. This 300 mile pipeline would put our water, climate, and communities at risk. Governor Dayton has a key role to play in protecting Minnesota from the impacts of yet another tar sands pipeline. Tell him to stop Line 3! We don’t need more pipelines, and we can’t build more if we are serious about tackling climate change. We need more renewable energy solutions that will safeguard the planet now and for future generations.
