I’m a long suffering Met’s fan and I’m tired of supporting a team that has no interest in winning. They are always looking for the cheap way out at the expense of the fans.

On April 6, 2017, The Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) and with most Holly Hill residents the town hall as ever seen, gathered for a town hall meeting. At the meeting, Holly Hill residents, pastors, teachers, etc, gathered to express their disapproval of the placement of the SCV’s Confederate Flag and memorial components. Ronald “Irvin” Shuler of Providence, SC donated the land to the SCV. Although he’s not a resident of Holly Hill, he has friends/associates located in Holly Hill; meaning he’s familiar with the town’s high population of African American residents. Despite the disapproval from the towns residents and leaders, Jamie Graham (Commander) and the 7th, 8th and 10th Brigades of the SCV erected the Confederate Flag and other memorial components on June 16, 2018. Days later, June 21, 2018, the sign was vandalized. If the Confederate Flag and all of its memorial components remain in Holly Hill, SC, our once small peaceful town will increase in violence and racial tensions amongst Africans Americans and White residents in Holly Hill, SC. This flag was placed in Holly Hill, SC without thought or care about the quite obvious tension it would cause because of its history. Although small, a peaceful march to remove the flag started the morning of June 23, 2018. Three African American women were verbally assulted by white men. If this Confederate Flag and all of its memorial components are not removed from the town of Holly Hill, racial divide, racial tension, violence and crime will increase. The town of Holly Hill is also the home of 2 of our Orangeburg Consolidated School District 3 schools; Holly Hill Elementary (located feet away from the SCV flag and memorial site) and Holly Hill Middle School. Its also the home of Holly Hill Academy (located less than 5 miles away from the SCV flag and memorial site). If violence were to break out in our small town, our youth will be the first ones affected. We’ve seen the violence that took place in Columbia, SC with the removal of the Confederate Flag. Just imagine that level of violence happening in our small town and so close to our youth. To our Mayor, William Johnson and Holly Hill Town Council, our State House and Senate Representatives and our Governor, Henry McMaster. The residents of Holly Hill, SC need your help in removing the Confederate Flag and all of its memorial components.

Delawareans (and all Americans) need to know if potential presidential candidates are crooks!

I disagree with Walgreens policy of pharmacist not providing services because of religious beliefs and then not following Walgreens policy of: "You have a right to step away, but you don’t have a right to step between" I disagree with Walgreens policy, which is active in 6 states. Walgreens needs come out of the dark ages and respect a woman's right to control their own bodies. And not have male pharmacist deny them services I am asking for support by boycotting all Walgreens till they change their policy and/or fire/or discipline this employee

It has been difficult to ask questions in this community with issues that are current in congress. Replies are usually given through emails with generic answers. Local staffers simply tell people they have to send an email....

I have suffered from a severe spinal injury since 2016, and due to my age, various medical professionals have been hesitant to surgically rectify my situation with the hopes that it will naturally heal at some point. Medical marijuana has more successfully managed my chronic pain than my former treatment with narcotic medications such as Norco, Percocet, and Morphine, and its side effects are minimal in comparison to the harsh side effects, addictive nature, and withdrawal symptoms that are associated with narcotic medications. How I manage my disability when I am at home does not impact my ability to perform at any place of employment , and medical marijuana users need legal protection against employers to be able to manage their disability without fear of being terminated or not hirable due to an antiquated prejudice towards a helpful and now state-legal substance.

Trump has to go.

We can’t wait for folks in Washington DC to come to their senses and reinstate these rules.

Tobacco smoking has become more and more restricted in public places. It is time it is banned from all TV and films. Stop promoting smoking visually!

I believe many Americans are torn by the words and actions of the President. They want to act but don't know what they can do to stop this administration's fascist agenda. Fox News is the primary news source for most of Trump's base. Targeting the All Star Game's sponsors, clubs and players will bring more attention to the Fox Network and it's role in the Trump narrative.

Pregnant women are having their babies ripped away daily for their medical choices to consume marijuana over pharmaceuticals due to a medical condition in Colorado. Many doctors will prescribe medications that have been proven to cause birth defects but do not condone medical marijuana use during pregnancy. It is a mothers job and right to protect their children the best we know how, we know that any medication while pregnant can be potentially harmful but when medically necessary we want the right to choose plant based medication over pharmaceuticals. #OneTeamOneDream
