Tell Governor Mary Fallin To Keep the Oklahoma National Guard Out of Donald Trump’s Deportation F...As a American woman married to a Mexican man, and a 18 year old son who is joining National Guard, the immigration uproar shakes me to the core. The type of reform we need is to make it possible for our hard working Hispanic population to have a path to citizenship. The laws in both Mexico and American make it nearly impossible for poor Mexican people to migrate legally. As the granddaughter of a German immigrant who migrated after World War II it pains me to hear the Hispanic population spoken of like Jews during the Holocaust. We can not allow a Holocaust mentality in America such as mass incarceration & deportation of good hard working residents of our state & country. They're your construction workers, your mechanics, your cooks, your lawn care workers, your housekeepers, your nannies, perhaps your neighbors, your friends, your family, your fellow Oklahomans. It hurts me to see the Hispanic population in fear of Trumps agenda. Please do not send the Oklahoma National Guard to carry out such a atrocity. Tell Congress: No Supreme Court nominee for TrumpA dark cloud hangs over this Administration as Trump himself, and numerous top campaign aides, are being investigated for obstruction of justice and potentially colluding with Russia to interfere in last year’s election. The Senate must not and can not act on a lifetime appointment to the highest court until this investigation is complete. The cases the next Justice will rule on will have wide-ranging impacts on nearly every American and could roll back decades worth of progress on LGBT rights, women’s health and reining in corporate power. Mitch McConnell held open a Supreme Court seat for nearly a year last year out of pure politics. Surely he can hold open this seat until an investigation of this magnitude can be completed. It is long past time for him, and Republicans, to put country before party and do the right thing.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Maria Tchijov

Bishop Paprocki: Make a place at the table for gay and lesbian couples. This is an issue of consistency, as noted by Fr. James Martin, S.J. on his Facebook page: If bishops ban members of same-sex marriages from receiving a Catholic funeral, they also have to be consistent... Moreover, they must ban anyone who does not care for the poor, or care for the environment, and anyone who supports torture, for those are church teachings too. More basically, they must ban people who are not loving, not forgiving and not merciful, for these represent the teachings of Jesus Christ, the most fundamental of all church teachings. To focus only on LGBT people, without a similar focus on the moral and sexual behavior of straight people is, in the words of the Catechism, a "sign of unjust discrimination" (2358) (https://www.facebook.com/FrJamesMartin/posts/10154522014756496).410 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Robert Stewart for SOCIAL ACTION LINKING TOGETHER (SALT)

Stop the dangerous Jordan Cove LNG Terminal and Pacific Connector Pipeline project! The Western Environmental Law Center and a coalition of conservation groups have challenged this LNG project for years, and we secured a great victory when the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) rejected the Jordan Cove-Pacific Connector project in early 2016 after it was determined that the drawbacks of the pipeline outweigh its public benefits. Now it’s back thanks to the Trump Administration’s plans to allow fossil fuels to further exploit our natural heritage, our communities, and our climate. The Western Environmental Law Center is a nonprofit, public-interest environmental law firm. Our expert attorneys are ready to use the full power of the law to stop the dangerous and destructive Jordan Cove LNG Terminal and Pacific Connector Pipeline project. WELC will be submitting all signatures and comments below to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on July 10, 2017.783 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Michelle Loth, Western Environmental Law Center

Congress gets Premium HealthCare & We get CrumbsHealth Care affects us all and I am sick of Congress voting on things that don't affect them. If it did affect them, they might care more about us all and the inequality of health care, and less about politics and insurance companies, making them real Public Servants.10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by linda rice-mandigo

Stop Spraying Poison along the Rio GrandeDid you know that the Department of Transportation is regularly spraying more than 600 gals of Roundup and other harmful chemical herbicides along Highway 68, a 24-mile Rio Grande River corridor? I saw it happening and stopped the driver, and got some details on the spraying. Then I asked him if he knew that in this area we have all kinds of migratory birds (including the bald eagle), all sorts of fish and that people swim, raft, fish and live here. This water is used to grow our food. This River is our Life line. It's the Life line of the entire area and for all the creatures large and small. Water is precious. Water is Life. It needs to be protected, not poisoned. "Glyphosate may well be the most toxic chemical ever approved for commercial use, as it is now linked to kidney disease, antibiotic resistant bacteria, inflammatory bowel disease, depression, ADHD, autism, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ALS, multiple sclerosis, cancer, cachexia, infertility, and developmental malformations. It destroys the microbiome of humans and plants, which is the root cause of many modern diseases". Ban Round Up In Our Town2,014 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Gaia Khan

Tell Apple CEO Tim Cook: Join the battle to save the internet on July 12The FCC wants to destroy net neutrality and give big cable companies control over what we see and do online. If they get their way, they'll allow widespread throttling, blocking, censorship, and extra fees. On July 12, the Internet will come together to stop them. More than 100 tech companies, major websites, and notable organizations have joined. The one thing all of them agree on: defending Title II net neutrality. Net neutrality is the basic principle that protects our free speech on the Internet. "Title II" of the Communications Act is what provides the legal foundation for net neutrality and prevents Internet Service Providers like Comcast, Verizon, and AT&T from slowing down and blocking websites, or charging apps and sites extra fees to reach an audience (which they then pass along to consumers.) The Internet has thrived precisely because of net neutrality. It's what makes it so vibrant and innovative—a place for creativity, free expression, and exchange of ideas. Without net neutrality, the Internet will become more like Cable TV, where the content you see is what your provider puts in front of you. Tell Apple CEO Tim Cook to join the internet-wide day of action to save net neutrality on July 12.468 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Justin Krebs
