Tell Wikipedia to add a Controversy section to Don Lemon's Wiki ArticleDon Lemon downplayed a violent, racially-charged hate crime against an 18 year old autistic teen this year in January while live on the air on CNN. But Wikipedia keeps removing the contents of this event from Don's Wiki articles, pretty much censoring any controversial events from him. We cannot allow this, especially for people such as myself and my sister Wendy, who are autistic. Wendy is low-functioning and is the sweetest, most loving and loyal friend you could ever ask for! I am high-functioning, and can take care of myself, but Wendy needs her bubba to fight for her safety and to protect her. If we allow such disregard towards harming autistics, we could be in danger of other teens thinking what the four individuals did to him is somehow 'cool' or they might think they will somehow gain 'street credit'! Please sign to stop such blatant disregard and help protect the most vulnerable of our citizens on the spectrum.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Joseph Smith

Georgia must support the Paris Climate AgreementI think changes have to be made, and since Donald Trump will not be leading us in the right direction we must stand up and do it ourselves. We as a whole will be harm if we do nothing to save this planet. It would be selfish to not want to make this planet a better place since our childrens and their childrens will be the ones paying for our ignorance. In order to make change we must individually make effort to change for the better. Climate change is very really and not believing in it will be a dangerous mistake that we cannot afford to make. Over 90 percent of scientist agreed that climate change is real, and we are currently seeing some effect of it with our very own eyes, yet we chose to ignore it. Frankly it should not even be a debatable issue, because the fact are there and they are not going to go away. We have to read up and keep ourselves inform, and not be easily sway by absurd claims. We need to educate ourselves on environmental issues and find ways we can live sustainably. It is in our best interest to help the environment since it would do nothing but benefit us. I mean what could possibly go wrong if we make the planet a better place for all of us?1,321 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Thuam Puii

We cannot afford to go backwards--not just for our sake but for the sake of today's children. The fight against climate disruption should not be a partisan issue. Thank you, Gov. Malloy for taking action for our climateWe cannot deny the effects of global warming and its scientific proof. As the one of the wealthiest states in the wealthiest nation on the earth, we have a responsibility to support current, and enact future legislation, that will protect our wildlife, the environment, and the National Park system. We cannot allow public lands to be defiled for the good of the few. We have witnessed here in Connecticut the alarming loss of honey bees, Monarch butterfles, and the mutations of frogs, just to name a few. Thank you for being one Governor who stood up.52 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Cathy Spyrie

South Carolina should join the state-led U.S. Climate AllianceBesides being a potential legislative win in being visionary and forward looking, committing to these measures is important for the health and economy of the state. Countries, states, and cities that have committed to renewable energy has shown that it is a boon to the economy by sparking ingenuity and opening up new businesses with new jobs. With mayors in Columbia and Charleston, as well as the flagship campus at USC committing to these measures, the state would be investing in the economy of the present and future by joining the alliance. Secondly, given the historic floods of the past few years and the devastation they have caused, it is a question of health and security to limit the effects of climate change before we are in an annual cycle of rebuilding infrastructure Post flooding.977 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Don Polite Jr

City Clerk Winfrey: Come to the neighborhoodsThe City Clerk is the doorway to democracy, information, and accountability in Detroit. But right now, every Detroiter doesn’t have equitable access to in-person services close to where they live. In order to drop off their ballot in person, or make official records request face-to-face with someone, Detroiters must get to one of two locations in or near downtown, search for parking, risk a parking ticket, even go through security. That's not accessible service. By opening real service centers in all seven City Council districts, the City Clerk can meet people where they are, close to home, making information easier to access, empowering Detroit residents and business owners can focus on making their communities the best they can be.154 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Garlin Gilchrist II
