The House Intelligence Committee just voted along party lines to release the so-called “Nunes memo” -- a document drafted at the direction of the committee’s chairman, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA). Many who have seen the memo say it gets basic facts wrong, cherrypicks information and has absolutely zero credibility. This memo is just the latest in a long string of attempts by Republicans in Congress to undermine and smear Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Donald Trump and Russian election meddling. It’s especially telling that during last night’s partisan vote, Committee Republicans blocked release of the Democratic members’ memo which rebuts Nunes' claims. We cannot afford to let this become a partisan fight -- our democracy was attacked and Americans deserve the full truth. We can't allow Devin Nunes to continue spreading unfounded innuendo about the Russia probe to undermine its credibility as Mueller investigates the President for obstruction of justice. Please speak out and pressure Speaker Paul Ryan to remove Nunes from participating in the Russia investigation.

Our democracy is at stake. We must protect this great nation from autocratic rule.

This petition is being started to protect the taxpayers of Fall River from having to pay for poor decisions made due to political differences. Colin Dias has shown, numerous times, that he is unable to make informed decisions. Dias has shown, through articles written for Southcoast Media, that he has a bias against many of the elected officials in our city. I believe that this would create a conflict that could negatively affect Fall River taxpayers. Dias would likely make decisions to prevent duly elected officials from executing the job the citizens elected them to do. Additionally, Dias' petition to get appointed to the Fall River Wattupa Water Board appears to be an attempt to force Mayor Correia to appoint him or face accusations of not having appointed Dias due to his relationship with Former Mayor Flanagan.

United States border patrol agents routinely vandalise containers of water and other supplies left in the Arizona desert for migrants, condemning people to die of thirst in baking temperatures, according to two humanitarian groups. In a report published on Wednesday, the Tucson-based groups said the agents committed the alleged sabotage with impunity in an attempt to deter and punish people who illegally cross from Mexico. Volunteers found water gallons vandalised 415 times, on average twice a week, in an 800 sq mile patch of Sonoran desert south-west of Tucson, from March 2012 to December 2015, the report said. The damage affected 3,586 gallons. The report came amid renewed rancour in Washington over Donald Trump’s desire to build a border wall and his alleged racism towards non-white immigrants. Congress is scrambling to reach a deal on immigration and border security before federal funding expires on Friday, raising the spectre of a government shutdown. Obstruction of Justice

The current municipal code allowing dogs off-leash at the local park is overly restrictive. People are not able to enjoy their public park with their dog due to the limited times, and the park is basically empty in the time dogs are not allowed.
