I'm starting this petition because since 1956 the gop have been infiltrated by the church and in that time have done nothing but use the Bible to pass legislation that is damaging to the nation such as laws that allow people to be discriminated against, spending cuts that only hurt the poor.Because of the breech of the separation of church and state there are no fewer than seven (7) states I personally can't hold office because I'm an atheist. That is not equality and that is not what the founding fathers wanted.

I am a labor attorney representing workers nationwide and I am seeing the tragic effects of this law as workers are denied access to the courts to challenge discrimination, harassment, wage theft. Scalia and Thomas allowed the Federal Arbitration Act in to the work place and the only way to undue their mischief is by legislation repealing the Federal Arbitration Act.

It's not fair to have liquor legal when it is just as worse as marijuana and I believe we should be fair to all people and what they want. Marijuana could also help our economy so much more than we know!

The People of Pennsylvania have invested our tax dollars in building our roads, bridges, parking garages, parking meters, and other infrastructure. Now Gov. Corbett is on track to give the bridges we built to private contractors for 4 to 5 decades. It's true that Pennsylvania's bridges are in sad shape. But there are other, better ways to repair and rebuild our bridges. States that have privatized their infrastructure have found that these deals are bad for the people. We need to stop these bad deals now.

I'm tired of the outrageous lies that have passed for ads over the years. EVERYONE is affected by this. Very few voters are informed enough to know when they're being lied to.

My friend received notice that the survivor benefits she received as a teen due to her mother's death were now owed back to the federal government because she shouldn't have gotten them as she made too much money. She worked part-time at a restaurant at 16 back in 1975. They say she received checks for years she didn't receive anything and they're taking it out of her tax refund this year. They don't even have to prove she received it or signed the checks they sent! She didn't get benefits for the years they are claiming she was overpaid. It was over 35 years ago! Of course no adult will have records of what they received in childhood. They have no way of fighting it even if they fill out the appeal paperwork. This erasure of the statute of limitations for federal debt may not have been intended to target survivor benefits received by children over 35 years ago. But the law allows the Social Security Administration to legally take money from you 35 years later. This is wrong and needs to be changed. It could happen to anybody. People should not be forced to pay for alleged debt that may have been incurred by their parents when they were still minor children.
