RACISM MEETS CRITERIA FOR THREAT TO PUBLIC HEALTHFrom gun violence to universal healthcare, no field of endeavor or conflict in this country is untouched by the legacy of racism manifest by our American destiny. Despite scholarly and established work to the contrary, CDC cries "No evidence-based best practices to address it" as an excuse not to do their job, so the people must demand it. I have seen the stress of loss of privilege, the minute daily drips of intangible "microaggressions" and the gaping wounds of bullets; I took an oath and DO NO HARM is not enough. We're also on Twitter and would ask folks to tweet Trevor Noah and other prominent folks who "have the mic"! @Right2healthNow16,870 of 20,000 SignaturesCreated by Leslie Gregory, PA-C

Make New York Healthy Workplace Bill a Law in 2024The toxic circumstances of WORKPLACE/ACADEMIC BULLY has been well known for years. But progress for change has been excruciatingly slow primarily because of elected, civic and business powers that be. Elected officials in Albany should know that the time for change WAS YESTERDAY. Please support the petition and encourages others to sign.1,178 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Gregg Morris

Disband the Democratic PartyThe word democracy does not appear in The Constitution nor does it appear in The Declaration of independence. America is NOT nor was it ever intended to be a Democracy. We cannot spread Democracy by war all over the world if we are not a Democracy! All too often in our political system we fight with left and right, it's time we all stand in unity as a Republic, the way our forefathers intended...one nation under God899 of 1,000 SignaturesCreated by Carlos Vazquez

Free DC Petition for EqualityIn Washington, DC, our nation's capital, we have no voting member of Congress, and our local taxes and laws are subject to the control of Congress. This violates every principle of democracy and it is un-American.2,380 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Michael Brown

Kentucky DOC Reduces Inmate Communication With Loved OnesThe Kentucky DOC posted a memo in prisons across the state yesterday stating that the Securus phone app would be removed no later than close of business that same day. They cited security reasons. This decision actually decreases security in Kentucky institutions and increases the potential for conflict amongst inmates. Inmates receive minimal, if any, mental health treatment or counseling in our prison system. Phone calls to loved ones are their lifeline and are essential. Prisons do not have the physical means to ensure inmates get phone calls from shared phones every day. The tablet phone app allowed an inmate to call without competing for resources. Research indicates that inmates who receive calls and visits from loved ones have better outcomes in prison and upon release. In addition, many cases of inmate abuse have been litigated in Kentucky over the last few years and limiting incarcerated individuals' ability to communicate with the outside world could keep such incidents from being brought to light. Please sign this petition to restore the Securus phone app to inmate tablets and to have decisions regarding inmate communication policy be made public so that families are fully informed on changing DOC policies.2,431 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Loved Ones of Kentucky's Incarcerated

Request for Town Hall Meetings During Recess: David P. JoyceRecess is a time for members of Congress to return to their home states. They should be using this week to meet with their constituents, give space for their concerns, and take that back to D.C. Instead, House Republican leaders are now reportedly telling their offices to avoid holding public events when they are home for March recess. This is the opposite of the directions Democrats are receiving—with Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries encouraging all members to connect directly with constituents to talk about the Republican-backed attacks on key services like Social Security and Medicaid embodied by Elon Musk's actions and the Republican budget.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dr. TIMOTHY McCarthy
