  • "Republican Prejudice Towards Obama in America"
Beginning 2007, the world witnessed the arrival of an exciting and fascinating political development -an unparalleled event that seemed unfathomable to comprehend in a society that had for centuries adopted a master-slave cult relationship - put forward the first African American petitioner to petition for the highest elective office in the world's most dominant hegemony since the pinnacle of Imperial Rome. As a Liberian political writer in the midst of such exhilarating life-changing event, I refused to sit by idly without writing about it. It's 400-page volume, precisely detailing "Republican Bigotry Towards Obama in America, " now languishing at the Partridge Africa Publishing for quite some time now, owning to the fact that I've defaulted in installment of fee to the company due to bad health, rendering me unable to work at this time in America. For me, it's not about monetary gain; it's really about the state of my writing career in America and whether or not I have what it takes to compete with well-established authors in such renowned society. This is my dilemma in America. The nature of the book, apart from its reporting aspect, offers also a vivid narrative of the struggle of American Liberalism an whether it will be able to sustain itself in post Obama era, in particular, in the face of continue Republican and conservative assaults in America. This segment of the book is very critical in that if progressivism or liberalism is to prosper and remain arguably the greatest governing philosophy for Americans and the world at large, we liberals must do all we can to ensure that such plan remain our center of focus. • Elimination of Corporal Punishment in the Holmes County School District
We are starting this petition because our children are paddled and spanked for any small violation of the policy. There are some practices, such as corporal punishment which we need to get rid of because of the fear that it instills in children who are already exposed to a high degree of violence inside the community.

  • Tell the DNC: Schedule more Democratic presidential primary debates!
The DNC has only scheduled 4 debates before the Iowa Caucuses, and 6 total, down from 26 debates leading up to and during the 2008 primaries. The DNC barred Democratic candidates from participating in non-sanctioned debates, which means the public is likely to see three times as many Republican primary debates as Democratic ones -- and the Republican debates have been drawing over 20 million viewers! This will give many Americans a stronger sense of familiarity with Republican candidates, which doesn't bode well for Democrats. Additionally, scheduling more debates before Iowa and New Hampshire provides primary voters in these important states a better opportunity to make an informed decision, which will impact who everyone else ultimately gets to vote for. Winning the White House in 2016 depends on getting our message out to the American people -- the vast majority of whom would benefit from Democratic policies. Scheduling more primary debates will achieve this, while also allowing candidates to hone their skills for the general election, giving the Dems a better shot at taking the presidency. • Assemblywoman Grove, take action against actual crimes instead of cheap shots against Planned Par...
Assemblywoman Shannon Grove has called for an investigation by the California Attorney General into activities of Planned Parenthood that have not been determined to be illegal and which would fall under federal, not state, jurisdiction if they had been. To make such duplicity and abuse of public office even more egregious Grove, a right-wing conservative who regularly guest-hosts right-wing rhetoric radio at taxpayer expense, is deliberately ignoring: 1. Actual violations of California Department of Managed Healthcare (DMHC) regulations by health care providers; and DMHC itself; which are not only illegal but negatively impact the health and well being of her constituents. 2. Legitimate complaints of dereliction by the California Attorney General respecting actual violations of California law by homeowner associations which fall under the direct jurisdiction of the Attorney General. In both of the above cases Grove demonstrates contempt for constituents unless they can be of substantial political benefit to her. Grove also appears to be obsessed with Planned Parenthood as evidenced by her Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/shannongroveca). It would be well for Assemblywoman Grove to remember that her constituency consists of far more than the headline grabbing elements that benefit her political career or support her personal vendettas; her constituents are also those tax-paying citizens that are entitled to equality in law enforcement but that she is deliberately ignoring.

  • Restore Fair Access to Wharton State Forest
Wharton State Forest is the "jewel" of the Pine Barrens and offers a large variety of recreational outlets. Most of those outlets will now be cut off - historic sites important to the early colonial period of New Jersey will be cut off, hunters will no longer be able to reach the majority of the woods, canoeists and kayakers will no longer be able to reach their favorite spots to launch into the Pinelands rivers, and an area that had an enormous impact in developing the culture of South Jersey will be off-limits to everybody to just name a few.

  • Save Western Gorillas
I have always been in love with animals my WHOLE life. I'm concerned about the Western Gorillas of Africa because they are one of my favorite animals and primates. I previously know what happened to the Black Rhinoceros and I do not want to have the Gorillas end up like them, close to extinction.
