• OUTLAW Bicycle Riding on the streets
I like most Michigan residents are sick and tired of people bicycling along streets, a bicycle is NOT a motor vehicle, therefore it belongs on sidewalks, bike paths or designated "bike lanes" along roads, ONLY exception is if none of these are available then use the should of the road or close to it as possible, otherwise it needs to be outlawed!

  • Leave the Fireworks Law in MI alone!
Leave the Fireworks Safety Act 256 of 2011 alone. There is no need to repeal this Act as it does not stop the fireworks from being in the hands of those that incorrectly use them. This will only help keep bringing extra money into Michigan instead of sending it to other states.

  • USTA Norcal Adult League Tennis: Let players play for more than one team in playoffs.
The USTA LLAR4B Adult League rule only allows players to play for one team going into playoffs. Therefore, players must choose one team only, and cannot play for all their teams if they are on multiple teams and if their teams made it to playoffs. Are you a USTA captain who's had to withdraw its team at playoffs because you lost players to other teams? Or are you a player on a team who's been in a dilemma figuring out which team to commit to at playoffs? Have you been frustrated when you chose the wrong team for playoffs and sadly saw your other team move to districts without you? If you are a USTA member and answered "YES" to any of the above questions, join our cause to change the USTA rule by signing this petition, and show USTA that you agree that all players should be able to play on multiple teams at playoffs, and should only choose one team when and if they get to districts. Please include your USTA number in the comments box when signing the petition. Thank you! • Legalize backyard chickens in the city of Frederick, MD
Many cities across the country and our own state have changed local laws and ordinances to allow for the raising of a small flock of hens. It is time for Frederick, MD to join this movement. With proper education and a little research it is very easy to raise chickens in an urban setting without fear of noise, smell or disease. At the same time you can provide your family with a very healthy choice in home grown eggs. Factory farming is failing us in many ways. This will relieve the pressure on factory farming, while giving residents the right to provide a much more humane, and safe environment for backyard chickens. Let's join cities like New York, Baltimore, Rockville, Silver Spring, Bethesda, Potomac, and many more to put food production into the hands of city residents.

  • Tell NPR: Cover Actual Issues in Your 2016 Election Coverage
This morning I heard yet another feature 2016 election story on NPR ("Clinton is 'Worried' About Bernie Sanders--But Should She Be?") in which not a single mention was made of where candidates stand on the issues facing America. Not climate change, not gun safety, not national security--only a brief passing reference to income inequality. Our democracy would be stronger if Americans could more easily determine how candidates' stances on the biggest issues match up with their own views, but NPR is not helping to make that happen.

  • Extended Family Visits in Arizona
I'm starting this petition because I'm a single mother, my husband is incarcerated, and my 4 year old has been acting out since he's been gone. She asks for him and cries for him and I see how it has affected her in many ways. She asks to go sleep with her Dad and she wants him to watch movies with her. How can someone deny a child from being with the father regardless of where he is? I hope this petition is passed around and signed.

  • Rehabilitator's blind deer will be euthanized because they will not let her keep it.
---------------------------------------- Since 2008 Cindy McGinley has been nursing sick or injured deer back to health before returning them to the wild. As a state licensed wildlife rehabilitator, she’s allowed to provide care and emergency treatment to wild animals in order to release them back into nature. In her eight years of aiding animals though, McGinley has encountered two special cases that have stayed with her long-term. Deirdre and Lily are a pair of white-tailed deer that live on McGinley’s horse farm in Chittenango. Each were brought to McGinley as malnourished and orphaned fawns. Deirdre, now five years old, was just the size of a Chihuahua when she arrived on the farm. "Her mother was hit by a car and she was found beside the body," said McGinley. Lily was so underfed and dehydrated that she lost her ability to see. McGinley believes that neither would be a good candidate for release into the wild and has since raised the does on her farm in their own turnout and stable. But now the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation says the deer must go. While attempting to apply for a license that would allow her to care for the deer long term, McGinley was not only met with a rejection letter, she was also told that her deer must either be released or turned over to the DEC for release or euthanization. In the case of Lily, the blind doe, the DEC gave McGinley a grim choice. "There are only two options available for the one year old: 1) euthanize the animal as non-releasable; 2) surrender the deer to DEC," Joseph Therrien, a DEC Special Licenses Unit member wrote in his denial letter. McGinley believes her application was not given fair consideration. According to her, no one from the DEC came to see her farm or asked any questions to consider the circumstances for these deer. Cindy filed a temporary restraining order to try to buy time for her application to be reconsidered. For now at least, Deirdre and Lily’s future remains uncertain, but Cindy will continue to try to protect them just as she has since they first arrived on her farm.

  • Get The Dead Kennedys Back On Alternative Tentacles
I feel that Jello Biafra has been wronged and that this issue should be fixed right away. He owned those songs not manifesto and Ray so please listen to me when I say this needs to be fix.I have been affected by it due to the fact that manifesto overprices the heck out of their music and has prevented me from purchasing any Dead Kennedys music.

  • Tell Donald Trump: The American people deserve to see documentation on your current hair situatio...
The reasons I believe this is relevant and should be provided to the American people are as follows: 1. Our President is photographed in all types of situations that he cannot control. I want to prevent any pictures that could potentially damage our image around the world. 2. As a fiscal conservative, it is important to ensure that no unnecessary taxpayer dollars will be wasted in this process of hair preparation. I have the right to know how much I will have to pay for that hair.
