As a licensed cosmetology instructor, I've worked for 22 years to stay current in my field, spending thousands of dollars to do so. To take away our instructors' licenses without reason or warning is unfair and unjust.

With this petition we are telling the Maine House, Senate, and Governor to stop the practice of changing the clocks in the spring and fall. Instead, let's keep Eastern Standard Time always in Daylight Savings Time, that is to say the way it is after we advance the clocks in the spring by one hour, never "falling back" in the fall. There are already too few daytime hours as it is!

Hello, my name is Wanda and I am the mother of seven lovely children. I am a avid believer in nurturing and chastising my children in a fair way. As a mother of black children I feel it is imperative that my children are an asset to society. After disciplining my second to the youngest child for an unexceptional report card the schools social worker reported me and my parental rights were terminated because of severe abuse findings. In the beginning the goal was to return my children to me. I did everything that was required of me except pay child support, but I did support my children in other ways when I did have visitations. I am reaching out for support requesting that my children be returned to my custody where they want to be. My children want to come home. If I was abusive they would not want to be around me. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is guilty of dereliction of her duty as DNC Chair to get more Democrats elected throughout the country, especially when it comes to special elections like the one in her home state of Florida and the recall election of Scott Walker in Wisconsin. In a time when the American people have lost faith in the electoral process due to a belief that there is not difference in the parties when the right to self-govern as is represented by one ballot, one vote for a candidate of the citizens' choosing, Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schulz, as Chair of the Democratic National Committee, has chosen to make an agreement with a single candidate before the primary process has been completed and only allowing a limited debate schedule. This schedule not only limits the candidates debates to 6, but due timing would prevent people from voting in primaries for a candidate they may otherwise choose due to missed party affiliation change deadlines for primaries. This is against the core of the beliefs of the Democratic Party and against the process intended by the Democratically elected Republic of the United States of America.

The PVRPD has placed restrictions on which groups can use the field space for soccer. According to PVRPD by-laws, Community Service Groups are the highest priority organization to be awarded field space access. PVRPD has an application process which details the requirements on becoming a Community Service Group. MSA FC has completed and submitted the application to become a Community Service Group and while MSA FC fulfills all the listed requirements, MSA FC was denied. The PVRPD by-laws do not state any restrictions on the number of community service groups that can be recognized, yet they have arbitrarily denied MSA FC from being recognized in the Community Service Group category because PVRPD has two organizations who are already classified as Community Service Groups in the same general category. PVRPD has denied MSA FC the use of Pleasant Valley Fields and other park facilities. MSA FC members are comprised of a community of local residents whose tax dollars pay for the Pleasant Valley Fields and other facilities. Sign the petition asking that the PVRPD recognize MSA FC as a Community Service Group.

I've sent ABC Family channel a few emails letting them know that their programming contains a hate filled show. All I ever receive back is standard response. The 700 Club is not appropriate programming for a family oriented channel.
