Tesla sells its cars directly to consumers, but state law currently prohibits Tesla from operating in Texas: Car makers are not allowed to sell vehicles directly to the public in Texas, they must sell through independently-owned franchises. Over twelve hundred franchised new car and truck dealerships are essential to the fabric of Texas. We seek to allow a change in the Law that allows Tesla to sell its cars directly to consumers in Texas. By allowing Tesla to sell its cars directly to consumers, we are supporting the automobile industry of the United States and ultimately the entire US economy. Texas Dealerships must join the brotherhood of humanity to create jobs and opportunity for all mankind.

The USDA is poised to approve the first GMO apple. If approved, these genetically engineered apples could end up everywhere from school lunches to grocery stores, posing risks to our health, our environment and apple farmers across the United States. Like other GMOs, it won’t be labeled and won’t have undergone independent safety testing -- regulators will rely on the company’s sole assessment that the apple is safe for human consumption. Worse yet, this GMO apple was genetically engineered via a new, virtually untested experimental technique called RNA interference, which many scientists are concerned may have negative, unintended impacts on human health and the environment. We need your help today, right now, to tell the USDA to say no to GMO apples.

Not only is Colorado losing a great leader, but the right wing has succeeded in breaking our democratic process by initiating an endless string of recall elections. We must put an end to the partisan political games that made endless recalls attractive to the far right.

Everyone is affected by the right to see and feel what art is about. We the people can't keep creditors taking things away from us for their own powers and pleasures. No matter where they are from, creditors take your assets in order to "fill in" for the bankruptcy. In reality, you don't owe anything to these creditors. They are just here to steal from you. If they were to give you a "bond" or "credit", they would make up the money out of thin air and type a number in your bank account, which is what you call MONEY. That's actually -- nothing. You don't ever see the money, you see the number typed on your account. So, what will Detroit get for the treasures at the DIA? NOTHING!!!! Nothing can replace the DIA the way it is!!!!! We will lose the right to go and see real art, get educated about what it looks like, and enjoy our time at this beautiful place! Because brain did not deserve to die

We the undersigned, wish to have Domanick Hunter Law returned home and placed into the care of his Aunt Tammy and Uncle Jim Shultz. Domanick was taken from his home on August 1,2013 and we have not be able to talk to him and see him since this date. We are worried about what this is all doing to him. His whole family loves and misses him immensely and want him home where he belongs. We all agree that Tammy and Jim Shultz are good people with good values and we know that they will see that he gets the best care and love he possibly can. His family is behind them and supporting them every step of the way as well. Please help bring Domanick home. The Holidays ,or any days, are not the same without him.
