Rush does not deserve air time ever again

Mr. Limbaugh obviously has no respect for women after those nasty remarks made about Ms. Fluke. He also shows no respect for others whose opinions may vary from his own? Is this the composite snapshot of Ocala and what residents would want to portray as embracing? Sign the petition to get him off and out of our air space.

Rush's show has always included hate-bashing and flat out lieing about issues around minorities and civil rights. When he called Sandra Fluke a "slut" and "prostitute" for sharing her position on birth control with a congressional panel. He spent three days ridiculing her and her parents. He even went so far as telling her that if he was paying for her birth control pills, he wanted her to post her sexual acts on YouTube so he could watch. This is inappropriate and demeaning to a woman who did not do anything to deserve it. I will not support any advertisers of the Rush Limbaugh Show!

When Rush Limbaugh called Georgetown University student Sandra Fluke a slut and a prostitute and demanded she provide “sex tapes” so that he could view them, simply because she advocated for wider access to birth control , he was widely condemned by people of every political persuasion with diverse opinions on contraception who simply believe that no woman should be disrespected in this manner, and certainly not on our public airways. As a result 140 major advertisers have pulled their ads from the Limbaugh show. Join us in demanding that WKCT take Limbaugh off the air. Let’s make Bowling Green a place where this kind of obscene hate talk is not acceptable.

Rush Limbaugh has insulted the women of the world and should be removed from the airwaves. He is abusive, hateful and his comments do not educate or inform. He has no knowledge of the subject on which he is commenting. .
