#ArrestTrumpEarlier this month, Trump praised the two men who brutally beat up and urinated on a homeless Latino man. The men told police that, "Donald Trump was right, all these illegals need to be deported." Recently, Trump had Jorge Ramos, a prominent Latino journalist, forcefully removed from a press conference for asking questions about his immigration policy that Trump didn't like. And, during the first televised Republican presidential debate, Trump admitted, before a national television audience, that he has bribed public officials from both major political parties. There have been no repercussions or criminal investigations, and this is unacceptable. Trump's hateful and possibly criminal actions are destructive to American democracy and the rule of law, and have led to acts of violence. Billionaires and presidential candidates should not be able to operate above the law. Urge US Attorney General Loretta Lynch and State Attorneys General to hold Trump accountable, conduct a full criminal investigation of Trump's actions and the actions of his campaign and representatives.35 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Presente.org

Judge David Braxton: Terminate Guardianship Case No. 2012-775155 LGI relocated to the state of Arizona on October 29, 2013. My child was to accompany me. My dad and stepmom suggested that I leave alone to get a head start and send for my child. I agreed with their suggestion believing they were acting in good faith. I returned to the state of Michigan in June of 2014 to retrieve my child. The guardians were informed of my return and preceded to abduct my child and keep her away from me with a forged "Placement Plan". It was never signed by me; I never agreed to the terms of the Placement Plan.79 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Derrick Williams Jr.

Rent Control: State Regulated Pricing CapThis petition is to make our state legislature and governor aware that lower and middle class Californians need a safe guard of protection. This is to protect low income and middle class income Californians, from unforeseeable risky fiscal events due to the lack of "controlled and regulated" financial sectors, in both banking and housing markets. This petition which I hope with the best intentions becomes law, is a safe guard to protect both the lower and middle class, and to protect California's economy if another housing bubble collapse was to occur. This petition is to generate a realized market condition, rather than a false market condition which involves risk, and lessens quality of life.175 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Vincent Williams

Dissolution of Vine City Civic Association, Inc.The constituents of Vine City Community no longer want the VCCA to represent the interest of our neighborhood. Due to the lack of transparency in the management of funds, the unwillingness to partner with the community in decision making, and their refusal to comply with the open records laws. VCCA has eroded the community's trust to a point of no return.11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tamika

Free ANTAR CHRISTMASMy son, Mr. Antar Christmas was pointed out by a young boy that had gotten robbed at gunpoint because he had a jacket that fit the description. The first police report stated by the victim and his friend that the two guys that robbed the boy were 2 dark skin males over 6 feet, one with nappy hair the other with dreads. Antar Christmas is 5'10", light skined with good hair. The boy saw Antar Christmas in the library with this jacket and called the police and his mother. Police came and detained Antar Christmas but let him go because the first police report didn't fit Antar Christmas's description. The boy and his mother got upset and went to file another police report that now describes Antar Christmas all because of this jacket. In court, the victim and the friend had two different stories. I feel like the young boy and his mother are just looking for someone to blame. Antar Christmas is a young man that isn't perfect, made stupid mistakes when he was younger and made that clear to two judges but this crime he was no part of. The family can't afford an attorney so had to settle for a public defender. Antar Christmas is focused on working at a great job, helping his mother and little sisters and trying to finish school so he can become a professional business owner.41 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Shalonda Christmas

Tell Mayor of Thibodaux to Fire Kevin Clement! What if the volunteers who dedicate their time to coach and mentor your kids had their faces blacked out by a city official in a tournament publication? That is what happened in March, when Kevin Clement, Director of Recreation for the City of Thibodaux, LA, digitally erased the faces of Kenneth Lacy and Chris Ward, from the photo they took with their team for publication in The Biddy All-Star Tournament. Clement emailed St. Charles officials from his official city email and stated that the absence of Lacy and Ward's faces was due to "printer error." An outraged parent from another team saw this altered photo after purchasing one at the tournament, and demanded answers. Lacy and Ward's humiliation did not end there. When Lacy expressed his embarrassment and hurt to Mayor Tommy Eschete, a longtime friend of Clement, Mayor Eschete did nothing to remedy the harm caused to the two coaches' reputations or to the children and parents, who traveled from as far away as Finland for the tournament. They will always have the ugly reminder of the way two dedicated and invested black coaches were treated in a Louisiana Biddy Ball tournament publication. This act cannot do without redress! Demand that Kevin be held accountable NOW!256 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Ada Goodly

Police Service ReformAll our public service like firefighters, paramedics, police, are jobs for which that we citizens pay the compensation. So, since firefighters don't have to go looking for fires, paramedics don't have to go searching for medical emergencies, but they simply respond when called on, why should police be any different? The police should not go looking for crimes and traffic offenses as an excuse to disturb the peace of citizens. However, the police should only respond to crimes when called upon by citizens, just like any other public service employee would. The police should have no right to go out looking for crime. The police searching for crime should be against the law. So, we are asking that the police department's standard operating procedures, policies, and interactions with citizens be reformed to mirror the way that other public service jobs carry themselves.20 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Cordaun Dudley

Adult Education MattersAdult education is just as important as educating K-12th grades. It all starts with the parents. Why not see that the parents are getting what they need to help their children? Why don't we recognize the importance of supporting adults as they work to help their children reach their educational goals?548 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Gail Whitehead

Safe Guards for MBTA Employees Against Violent PassengersThis petition is to build safe guards for the MBTA drivers who are visible to the public day-to-day. The MBTA cannot expect drivers to collect fares or throw people off the bus for lack thereof and not expect issues like the one that arose with the veteran driver having a huge cup of liquid thrown in her face for doing her job. The MBTA needs a better safe guard for their employees or else not expect the drivers to collect the fare. The public is very hard to deal with and drivers get no mercy at all. If no safe guards are going to be put in place, then a transit police officer should be assigned to each bus for the employee’s safety when dealing with unruly and violent passengers.522 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Anitra Nance

Demand Removal of the Delaware DuPont Hay Rd. Hazardous Waste SiteAt the DuPont/Chemours titanium dioxide plant in Edge-Moor, DE, on the banks of the Delaware River and Shellpot Creek, lies a giant "dioxin pile" of dangerous waste which DuPont claimed was in temporary storage and would be sold. When DuPont was unable to sell the waste, it got permission from Delaware officials, over strong public opposition, to leave the pile there forever. If not removed, this "dioxin pile" will inevitably leak dioxin and other poisons into the air (blowing dust), into the groundwater, and into the Delaware River. It will be a perpetual threat to the health of residents, and an obstacle to safe reuse of the site. DuPont/Chemours must remove the dioxin pile. The recent sale of DuPont’s titanium dioxide (“TiO2”) manufacturing facility located at 104 Hay Road, Edge Moor, New Castle County, Delaware to the entity known as Chemours has cast a significant doubt that the hazardous waste storage site located in the area known as Cherry Island in Wilmington, Delaware will ever be removed, thereby posing an ongoing threat to the health and environment of all Delawareans. Chemours’ announcement that it was shutting down this facility shortly after its acquisition raises serious questions regarding who will be held responsible for cleanup and removal of this imminent threat. Governor Jack Markell and the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) must mandate the total removal of the hazardous waste pile from the Edge Moor facility holding the owners fully liable (jointly and severally) for the costs incurred by taxpayers for cleanup.495 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Representative John Kowalko DE.
