Remove Reince PriebusReince Priebus, Chairman of the Republican Party, has accepted on the behalf of Republican Congressmen, an invitation for hundreds of Republican congressmen and senators for a paid trip to Israel. Ban Fracking In Florida: Support SB 166Florida's delicate ecology and vast underground aquifer system are in danger from oil and gas fracking. We’re at an important moment in the debate over this critical issue: Sens. Darren Soto (D-Orlando) and Dwight Bullard (D-Miami) have introduced SB 166, a statewide ban on this dangerous threat to our water, our environment, and the health of our communities. Sign the petition urging Florida legislators to support SB 166 and finally remove the threat of fracking from endangering the Florida we love.577 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Ray Seaman, Progress Florida

Support BIG Investment in Infastructure JobsThe Progressive Change Institute asked voters whether they support a massive infrastructure program that would create millions of jobs. It was popular by 71% to 18% -- a bipartisan landslide. The public wants big action! Now, Senator Bernie Sanders is proposing a huge, $1 trillion infrastructure program -- which would create jobs repairing crumbling bridges and roads, expanding high-speed Internet, and increasing access to clean energy. PLEASE vote for supporting BIG investment in infastructure now!44 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Debra Mahony

Tell the Obama Administration to Prosecute Endangered Species KillersA little known and decades old Department of Justice policy is protecting the killers of endangered grizzly bears, whooping cranes, California condors and wolves. The so-called "McKittrick Policy" was enacted after a Montana man gunned down a wolf and later claimed he had thought he was firing on a dog. He was prosecuted, though the Department of Justice (DOJ) later decided to accept his self-exoneration by claimed ignorance and has clung to that policy of inaction for years. Endangered species need to be protected from hunters that can simply claim they did not know what they were shooting at. Tell President Obama and Attorney General Loretta Lynch to drop the McKittrick Policy and treat the killing of endangered species like the crime that it is.17,418 of 20,000 SignaturesCreated by Endangered Species Coalition

Petition for Community Garden at Wooten Park of Raleigh, NCThis vacant park is one mile from where I live. I'm starting this petition because having a green space added to the park plan would be beneficial to the whole neighborhood. We have a wide variety of people and a large percentage of them are in townhomes or apartments. They don't have access to gardens like they should. This will also be great for the kids. Bringing the community together through sustainable means is always a win!48 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Christina Naber

Tell the Bayfield County Board of Supervisors: Our Public Health is at Risk from the Reicks CAFODale Reicks, a factory hog producer from Iowa, has applied for a preliminary application for a permit to operate a CAFO with 26,000 hogs in the Fish Creek Watershed, less than 8 miles upstream from Lake Superior. The Ashland Municipal Water Utility is 3 nautical miles from the junction of Fish Creek and Lake Superior. Given the soil type, quantity of manure the Reicks CAFO will produce and the self-regulatory nature of the CAFO industry, it's likely that Fish Creek and the Chequamegon Bay will see increased nutrients, pathogens and agricultural run-off in the water. The threats to public health and welfare that CAFOs pose to communities are numerous (antibiotic resistant bacteria, pathogens in the manure, and disease such as asthma, decreased lung function, and cardiovascular ailments) but the potential threat to city with 8,000 residents water supply requires caution. A 2 year moratorium will allow Bayfield County the time it needs to research and develop regulations that will protect and preserve our environment and communities.3,347 of 4,000 SignaturesCreated by Mary Dougherty
