The CFPB was created in the wake of the economic collapse with a clear mission: To protect American families from the predatory and unfair lending practices that contributed to the financial crisis. Recently, what will undoubtedly be one of the most environmentally hostile Congresses in history took office. Its first item of environmental business? Voting to mandate the approval of the Keystone XL pipeline, putting campaign contributors ahead of the American public and our environment. Don’t let them get away with this! We need everyone to raise their voices NOW to reject this destructive project. Tell your representatives that you stand with more than 1 million Americans who are against the pipeline. Big polluters spent more than $721 million to get their cronies elected to Congress, and now they expect payback. The only way we can stop this destructive project is if everyone—including you—takes a stand. The Keystone XL pipeline would be disastrous, hurting communities, polluting our water and environment, and undermining our ability to stabilize climate change. If constructed, the pipeline would transport highly polluting Canadian tar sands crude to U.S. refineries on the Gulf of Mexico, where it would be processed and shipped overseas. Conservation groups, Native American tribes, farmers, and ranchers have opposed the project because it poses a threat to groundwater and surrounding lands. Despite this, Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell has made approving the Keystone project one of his very first priorities in 2015. The President just threatened to veto this ill-founded legislation but it’s critical that enough representatives register their opposition to show his veto can be upheld. We are facing our toughest battle yet. Help stop this disaster once and for all. Tell your representatives to vote NO.

I don't understand why homosexual men can't donate blood, especially when lesbians can. It just makes no sense! Here is some more information on why this issue is still going on. First off, homosexual men are not even screened or given a questionnaire. Why not? Just because they are possibly more susceptible to HIV doesn't mean they shouldn't be screened at all! The FDA tries to cover this up by saying the screens aren't always accurate, yet men and women alike who have many partners/sexual relations other than MSM(male having sex with males) are allowed to have a screening and questionnaire unquestioned as long as they aren't prostituting. This, in my opinion, is unjust and unfair, so I think that we should all join together in trying to get people to pay more attention to this honestly ridiculous issue.

My children have lost adequate special education classes.

1 out of 2 of our children in America currently have a chronic illness. 1 out of two males and 1 out of 3 femals are expected to get cancer. When they do, we can see now that in many cases, they are receiving a formua that contains a chemical that can kill their gut bacteria and weaken their immune system. This is unacceptable. We ask you to change your feeding tube liquid over to an organic brand as soon as possible. Please let us know when you do.

State Appointed Newark Public Schools Superintendent Anderson has continued to ignore and disrespect Newark parents, students, school staff, clergy, and elected leaders who have spoken out against her One Newark plan. Anderson, and the One Newark plan, have closed neighborhood schools, displaced children throughout the city, and left special needs students and English language learners without needed supports, violating numerous district, state, and federal policies. Despite wide spread opposition, Anderson has continued to impose her harmful plan on the parents and children of Newark. It’s time we all stood together to demand the resignation of State Superintendent Anderson.
