Many people need help. Don't give up this opportunity to get Medicaid at a fraction of its cost to states. It would be stupid! Hear this.

It is to request our state delegate Kirkland Cox to support the Medicaid expansion coverage debate that will take place in Richmond next week, to Virginians that indeed need it. To take care of those members of our society who can not take care of themselves because of different circumstances signify our moral strength and virtues of our civilized culture.

I am one of hundreds of thousands of Virginians who do not have any form of medical insurance. Expanding Medicaid would help people like me, protect our rural hospitals from closing, and strengthen the state economy. It's the right thing to do.

This should be easy, but it's not. Virginia is missing out on $5 million each day because some people want to obstruct Obamacare. Nearly 200,000 Virginians need Medicaid coverage and our tax dollars aren't coming back to help them or secure health care jobs.

All New Yorkers, especially those in Western and Upstate New York pay way too much for utility services that are produced here. New York State has the highest electrical rates in the nation, but also have 51 power generating plants. One of these plants is located in Niagara Falls. The 2,353-megawatt Robert Moses Niagara hydroelectric power plant was the fourth largest hydroelectric power plant in the United States in 2010 and, in 2011, New York produced more hydroelectric power than any other State east of the Rocky Mountains. That is only one of 5 such plants in Western New York. The only state that pays more per kWh is Hawaii. WE THE PEOPLE OF BRADFORD COUNTY want the immediate stopping of Chesapeake Oil and Gas; All of their Affiliates; All Other Gas Companies following the their path of UNETHICAL and UNEXPLAINED way of deducting massive unexplained charges from Landowners in Pennsylvania! WE want what WE agreed upon in OUR Contracts. The agreement of 12.5 percent, (GMRA), has been BREACHED. Since the "KILMER CASE". some Gas Companies have violated Pennsylvania’s Guaranteed Minimum Royalty Act (GMRA). Guaranteeing NO LESS THAN 12.5 percent! This effects ALL PEOPLE in Pennsylvania! this is money that could be spent in OUR schools OUR Communities! BRADFORD COUNTY is being called upon to save this COUNTRY with their energy crisis and in turn the people have been taken and WE WANT WHAT THE WAS INTENDED 12.5 percent. Delegate Landes--I am sure you know about the thousands of rural Virginians who can't afford health care who come, tired and desperate, to the annual one-summer-weekend mobile medical clinic in Wise to get help. We need more than that to keep Virginians healthy and able to work. Please support the expansion of Medicaid.

The scourge of dog fighting still plagues this country. Allowing scum like Vick to represent the New York Jets is appalling. Vick's sadistic and brutal abuse still haunts the dogs who managed to survive. It makes animal lovers everywhere sick to see Vick on the news. Stop rewarding his monstrous behavior by paying him millions.

Because expanding health care coverage in rural areas where access to healthcare is limited for individuals who are unemployed, or with limited or no income is important for preventative health care and to assist individuals with chronic health issues. As a mental health provider, this is important to my community where access to healthcare is a chronic issue and can affect mental health as a result.

Expand health care for those who are struggling without it.

As a volunteer working to advance health and quality of life for Virginia seniors, I see how devastating the lack of medical care can be for those who cannot afford insurance coverage. We need to act now to close the coverage gap and assure that all Virginia citizens have access to the care they need.

After a long contract fight, PPS is making major schedule changes for high schools without any collaboration or input. As parents, students and teachers we are impacted by these decisions and we demand meaningful dialogue and a productive and equitable decision-making process. This is the only path to the the schools Portland deserves.
