The American people must have a way to STOP candidates from telling us lies just to get votes---Then they do just the opposite and the people are powerless to do anything! We need this LEGAL CONTRACT so we can REMOVE ANYONE FROM OFFICE that lies to us---this contract eventually should be voluntaraly signd by all the candidates if they expect to win office---because NO ONE should vote for them if they refuse to sign. Of course it will take years to get to that point but after trhey see that the only candidates voted into office are ones who signed the contract they will change their mind and sign. When that happens the people of AMERICA will have the people in office WORKING FOR THEM as it shoulfd be---Americans will have CONTROL of their country back!---- SEE ROUGH DRAFT of CONTRACT BELOW--- Success of this "Contract With the People" will only be determined when you see them talking about it on TV.--So yes I think I am getting the concept to people who will advance it. On mondays "Hannity" 12/2/13 show he ended it with saying that he was starting a new web site next month to present the idea that "A 10 POINT CONTRACT IS NEEDED" that will be signed by candidates. It will be "kept simple" It will outlne only 10 points of things the candidate promiss to correct in government if he is elected.. The Contract would say that if they break it they agree to voluntarily leave office and allow someone to take their place--It could be used for local candidates and issues also. I'm making an effort to email the "Contract" out at least once a week until election day to as many people as I can reach hoping that it will catch on and the candidates will start talking about it in their debates---they can use the fact that they signed it against their opponent challenging them to sign it--They can say that it shows the American people they are for doing everything they can to make our government controlled by American people--and not large company's. Well it's just a thought...........we have to start correcting how our ELECTED LEADERS think when they are running for office and how they think after they are elected. They now only think about what big business or powerful organizations will give them large sums of money IF THEY PROMISE TO CHANGE A LAW OR VOTE IN THEIR FAVOR--but these changes are very seldom in peoples favor--and usually it's against the citizen.--This must stop! CONTRACT with the PEOPLE I propose that we make a requirement of our officials when campaigning that they sign a BINDING-CONTRACT with the PEOPLE --it should be kept as simple as possible--only 10 points 1- I will close our borders and make arraignments to document or return illegal aliens 2- I will propose and vote to stop all lobbying. 3- I will make it illegal for government people to leave office and become lobbyists 4- I will propose and vote for"bills" that they should not contain hidden last minute add on's, only one subject. 5- I will stop our elected officials from passing laws that make them exempt from our laws and will vote to remove any law that now exempts anyone (elected officials, etc) from our laws. 6- I will vote to stop ALL lobbying and will accept only funds from citizens. 7- I will vote to stop taking funds from special interests--only the people's funds. 8- I will will vote to stop using taxes collected for one thing and being used for something else. 9- I will propose that the government show pie charts each month. One with income segments and one with spending segments. 10- I will always put the American citizen's best interest above all else. By signing this Binding Contract I agree to step down and resign from my office voluntarily if I do not eagerly pursue and vote in favor of my campaign promises as noted above. I'm starting this petition because since 1956 the gop have been infiltrated by the church and in that time have done nothing but use the Bible to pass legislation that is damaging to the nation such as laws that allow people to be discriminated against, spending cuts that only hurt the poor.Because of the breech of the separation of church and state there are no fewer than seven (7) states I personally can't hold office because I'm an atheist. To let congress know what is really happening to the working, struggling, lower wage people of the U.S. since Obama Care was passed. My employers and most employers have dramatically reduced hours we are able to work to avoid paying healthcare costs for their employees. This is real. I am a real single mother who works to support my child with an absent father who fails to pay child support court ordered. I was making good money working 40- 45 hours a week. My hours were reduced to 20. I sought better employment with a large corporate National employer and recently all newer employee hours have been deliberately cut to 12 a week. How am I supposed to live on taxed minimum wage and pay for Obama Care?

Its bad enough that we are sending many of our jobs to China, we should not put our health to the side to allow chickens from China. A short time ago, China had an outbreak of H7N9, the latest in a string of "bird flus" that have struck the country. The disease, which the World Health Organization describes as an "unusually dangerous virus for humans," is directly connected to poultry farming. China refused to take our beef when the mad cow disease had occurred and has since not allowed beef from America. We need to take care of our health, or jobs, our country.

As an active parent with children in K-8 public schools, I am outraged by the damage that has been done at the hands of the Regents Chairwoman Tisch and Commissioner King, people who have virtually no experience with public education either as educators or as parents of children in the public school system. The Common Core implementation dreamed up by the Chairwoman and Commissioner has destroyed interest in learning by children who have been identified as children both gifted and with special educational needs. The Chairperson and Commissioner need to be held accountable for the damage they have caused. As parents of the children who have been harmed by their incompetence, we deserve to have our voices heard in the removal process and have an active voice in selecting their replacements.
