Dear KPBS, Citizens have a right to watch the documentary Citizen Koch which was scheduled for broadcast on PBS. If you need to divest yourself of contributions from David Koch, that is all to the good, as he was instrumental in producing the fallacious Nova segment which spread untruths about the 9-11 demolition.

Koch money shouldn't influence public television programming -- we want to see the film Citizen Koch aired on PBS!

So that people will know that the Koch brothers don't make diet Coke. But, are very heavily influencing the elections with "Tea Party" candidates.

Public Television should answer to the public, meaning viewers like you and I. "Citizen Koch" is a controversial documentary about David Koch, a billionaire who donates a lot of money to Public TV. Because they don't want to upset Koch, the documentary has been pulled from showing. But we all deserve to see this important documentary about Koch. Will you join the call for a broadcast of "Citizen Koch" on Independent Lens, a Public TV program?

The TRUTH needs to be told!

New Mexico is suffering from the worst drought in the country causing Black Bears to forage for food in neighborhoods, which is dangerous for both people and bears. Already this summer 40 bears in the Albuquerque foothills have been trapped and either killed or relocated to hunting areas. I enjoy hiking in the Sandia Mountains and am worried that our bears may not survive the winter without emergency diversionary feeding, which has been proven to be both safe and successful in areas like Lake Tahoe, CA.

Religious institutions should be held accountable to the citizens who subsidize them. There is absolutely no good reason why churches, especially large and highly profitable ones, should not be paying taxes.

The documentary about the Koch brothers is the type of programming that PBS should revel in and definitely show.

The very purpose of public television is to have a media outlet on the airwaves that is not biased by special interests and corporation. Viewers need the information in Citizen Koch to understand their democracy and make better decisions in the voting booth and with their wallets.

Unless world leaders and top scientists focus their full attention on solving the ongoing problems at the Fukushima Nuclear Plant then life as we know it will not continue. Fukushima continues to spill radioactive waste into the Pacific Ocean and if this spill is not contained swiftly then the Pacific Ocean and everything it touches will be contaminated with radiation, which will result in the deaths of millions of people. Those of us living in the Western U.S., like myself, my family, and my friends, will lose our lives and our loved ones early as radiation sickness spreads.

I'm a beekeeper so I am deeply concerned about neonicotinoid pesticides and systemic genetically modified organism acting as honey bee killers are not being properly regulated. I hope state leaders in Pennsylvania's State House are smart enough to eliminate our local PA supermarkets as the end-user delivery systems for pesticides in our food by passing GMO labeling laws in PA. We are being forced to consume toxins without giving our consent. Remember what happened with regard to the hazards of smoking and being exposed to second-hand smoke without consent? Pesticide traces in the urine of children eating conventionally grown produce? Unacceptable. Pesticide traces found in fetal umbilical fluid? Unacceptable. We need GMO labeling laws now. This is the first step in recognizing that the problem of pesticides is a major health threat to human beings, too.
