• CNN/DNC: We Want a REAL debate between Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden
This is not a REAL debate. Now that we are down to just 2 viable candidates for the nomination, we need a true debate where both candidates have the opportunity to challenge one another on their records and visions for the future. It is also crucial for us to see which candidate has the capacity and ability to withstand the pressure of a debate with Trump. This election is far too important to be soft on candidates now. CNN and the Democratic National Committee MUST give the public what they need and revert to a traditional debate format.

  • Impeach Chief Justice John Roberts Supreme Court
The Supreme Court needs intervention now. We want Chief Justice John Roberts impeached. The Supreme Court needs to stop helping Donald J. Trump. Stop allowing a criminal in the white house continue to break laws (continuing abuse of power), after Impeachment by retaliating against whistleblowers, using taxpayer money to fund his political campaign, break the law on Twitter repeatedly, offer criminals deals in exchange for pardons, and continue building a racist border wall that is killing people and that we cannot afford to build/maintain.

  • Whatever Warren Wants
All our lives people tell women what to do, how we should behave, how we should feel, how we should express those feelings. Stop. Stop now. Elizabeth Warren is a strong, brilliant leader who has committed her life to working for America and America's families. We mourn the loss of her candidacy for President in 2020 and will celebrate and support her in each and every path SHE decides. Warren forever.

  • Stop Wall Street from using the coronavirus to weaken regulations
The big banks are trying to use the coronavirus as an excuse to evade the regulations established after the 2008 crash to protect us from their reckless behavior. Wall Street banks like Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase, and Citigroup wrote to the Federal Reserve asking to get out of "stress tests" and capital requirements designed to ensure the banks won't fail in the event of a financial crisis. The stunning decline in the stock market and the impact of the coronavirus could create another financial crisis. Wall Street never wanted these rules. They fought hard to oppose their passage in 2009 and have worked hard to undermine them at every opportunity. Can you send a message and put a stop to this?

  • Stop Mitch McConnell & Elaine Chao’s corruption
Since becoming President Trump's Transportation Secretary, Elaine Chao has come under fire for scandal after scandal. Allegedly abusing her position to boost her family’s business in China. Maintaining her shares in a construction materials company, more than a year after she pledged to sell them. And most recently, giving her husband Mitch McConnell’s constituents special treatment -- reportedly steering millions of federal dollars to Kentucky while he faces re-election. The Department of Transportation’s Inspector General left his role while investigating these serious allegations. Now, it’s crucial that he is replaced, and quickly -- so that Chao is held accountable for her corrupt dealings. But who’s in charge of the confirmation process for the Inspector General’s replacement? Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. That’s right: McConnell and his wife are at the center of the investigation -- and yet, he has an enormous say in who gets to lead it. We need to make it clear to Mitch McConnell: the American people won’t stand for this conflict of interest. Add your name to tell him to recuse himself from the nomination process.

  • Bring back Drivers' Education to Tennessee public schools
Help students, parents, educators, and concerned citizens across Tennessee bring back Drivers’ Education to public schools. Many families cannot afford to send their children to a private driver’s education class. As a result, it’s creating a barrier to obtaining a driver’s license, students who are passing the tests are still afraid to drive, and compounding this issue is the fact that rampant “texting and driving” continues to be a source of danger on our roadways. Teen-aged drivers, now more than ever, are in need of driver education and greater awareness of the importance of safe driving habits. In large cities and rural areas across Tennessee, there are young people who are involved in wrecks because of their lack of driving experience. The impact is higher insurance premiums for the public and more car accidents due to unskilled and inexperienced drivers. Accidents remain a leading cause of death for young adults in the state of Tennessee. Moreover, in 31 states there is a mandate for driver education before a driver license is even issued. This is public safety! Please sign this petition in support of TN House Bill 2443 & TN Senate Bill 2446 and pass on to 10 friends.

  • Steve Bullock for US Senate
The US Senate, controlled by Mitch McConnell, is ignoring the rule of law, refusing to pass important legislation, and confirming unfit and incompetent US Judges and Cabinet Secretaries. Steve Daines is a supporter of Donald Trump's wreckless anti-environment, anti-worker, anti-woman, anti-public education, etc. agenda. Democrats must defeat Steve Daines and regain control of the US Senate this year. You are the best candidate to do that, so please seriously consider running.

  • Catholic University Parking Permit
Catholic University has been raising the price of tuition every single year and charges thousands for room and board. This forces people to move off campus and bring their vehicles from home. A parking ticket can vary, but it is about $60. A parking permit for a semester is hundreds of dollars on top of the tens of thousands students and their family’s pay to attend the university. It is important that they lower prices and understand that they are outrageously priced.

  • Super Tuesday Disaster: Demand better elections
On Super Tuesday, Hervis Rogers waited almost 7 hours to cast his ballot -- because his Texas polling place wasn’t equipped with enough machines. He finally got to vote at 1:30 a.m., then had to head straight to his morning shift at work. And Hervis wasn’t alone. Across the country, Super Tuesday voters were subjected to outrageously long lines, failing equipment, polling place closures, and other barriers to the ballot box. If our voting systems were this overwhelmed by a primary election, when only a quarter of states were voting -- imagine how large-scale that failure could be in November. That’s why we must act NOW. - Every polling place needs enough paper ballots and backup paper registration books to keep the lines moving when machines malfunction. - States must adopt robust early voting and vote-by-mail programs that give voters more flexibility. - We must restore the protections of the Voting Rights Act -- and stop self-interested politicians from enacting racist laws that disenfranchise voters of color. Our right to vote is the cornerstone of our democracy. And this year, when the stakes are so high, experts are expecting unprecedented turnout. Super Tuesday was a wake-up call -- and now, our elected officials must act. Add your name to tell our state and federal representatives: step up for our elections!

  • Ban the use of all Private/Third-Party Trackers on all Government Websites.
U.S. Citizens have a Constitutional right to privacy. That privacy is violated or chilled by the government's implementation of private, third-party trackers and cookies (such as Google CAPTCHA and Analytics) upon government websites. Essentially, the Federal government is explicitly allowing, and facilitating, private companies to build profiles on every American that visits the website - these are sensitive records (DHS, IRS, Healthcare.gov, etc.), the use of which we have a right to have held confidential by the Federal Government. The Federal government is more than capable of building-in its own trackers which do not violate privacy issues, as they do currently with Copyright.gov and the U.S. PTO.
