  • Investigate the Death of Sheyanna Smith – Demand Transparency and Accountability
On April 17, 2018, my daughter, Sheyanna Smith, lost her life in Coffee County, Georgia. Since that day, our family has lived with unanswered questions about the circumstances surrounding her death and the investigation that followed. Over the years, I have carefully reviewed the available records related to Sheyanna’s case, including emergency dispatch records, investigative reports, and autopsy documentation. During this process, multiple inconsistencies and unanswered questions have emerged regarding the timeline, the documentation of events, and how the investigation was handled. Every family deserves to know the truth about what happened to their loved one. When questions remain unresolved, transparency and accountability are essential to maintaining public trust in the justice system. This petition calls for an independent and thorough review of the investigation into the death of Sheyanna Smith. A fresh examination of the evidence and records can help determine whether all proper procedures were followed and whether the case should be re-evaluated. We respectfully ask state authorities and appropriate oversight agencies to: • Conduct an independent review of the investigation into Sheyanna Smith’s death. • Examine the timeline, emergency response records, and investigative documentation related to the case. • Ensure that all evidence and records are fully reviewed and preserved. • Provide transparency to the public and to Sheyanna’s family. Justice depends on accountability and truth. No family should have to fight alone for answers about their child. By signing this petition, you are standing for transparency, fairness, and the right of a family to know the truth. Please sign and share this petition to help ensure that Sheyanna Smith’s case receives the independent review it deserves. Justice for Sheyanna. Truth for our family. Accountability for our community.

  • Install Speed Bumps in the Pleasant Grove Neighborhood to Protect Our Community
Why This Is Important The Pleasant Grove neighborhood is home to families, children, and residents who deserve to feel safe on the streets where they live. Unfortunately, excessive speeding has become a serious and ongoing problem in our community. Vehicles frequently travel through the neighborhood at dangerous speeds, creating constant safety risks for pedestrians, children playing outside, people walking their dogs, and families simply trying to enjoy their neighborhood. This issue has been brought to the attention of local authorities over the years, but the speeding continues without a permanent solution. Without traffic-calming measures in place, the danger remains every single day. Speed bumps are a simple and proven way to slow traffic in residential areas. They help protect the most vulnerable members of our community and encourage drivers to respect neighborhood speed limits. Taking action now is about preventing accidents before they happen. Installing speed bumps will help ensure that Pleasant Grove remains a safe place for families to live, children to play, and neighbors to walk without fear of speeding vehicles. Our community should not have to wait for a tragedy to occur before meaningful action is taken.

  • Stop Censoring Science & History at Our National Parks
The Trump administration's Department of the Interior is forcing the removal or censoring of national parks exhibits that share factually accurate and relevant U.S. history and scientific knowledge. This campaign has escalated in recent weeks. The Trump administration has issued directives to National Park Service staff to remove many exhibits across the country, including ones that discuss the history of slavery and enslaved people, civil rights, the treatment of Indigenous peoples, and climate science. The effects of climate change on our nation's most iconic landscapes and sensitive natural resources are real; simply deleting references to climate science and impacts does not reduce the harm being done. Your help is needed to keep science and history from being removed and censored from America's largest classroom—our national parks! Tell U.S. Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum to stop erasing science and history from exhibits within the National Park Service.

  • Tell Congress: No illegal war with Iran
Every member of Congress has a choice right now: Will they do their jobs and rein in a rogue executive, or – through their inaction – endorse Trump’s illegal march to war? Trump’s illegal war with Iran has already killed Iranian civilians and American servicemembers. This bloodshed isn’t happening in a vacuum – it’s happening because Congress has repeatedly failed to exercise its authority and hold Trump accountable. We see what’s happening here. Heading into the 2026 midterms, Trump knows he’s failing to lower costs for working people. He knows voters are demanding answers about ICE violence and the Epstein crimes. And he knows this war is a way to avoid addressing those issues – and tighten his grip on power. Our members of Congress have the power – and duty – to stop this. They need to do their jobs, not hide behind Trump. It’s time to make that clear. Congress must pass a War Powers Resolution, block funding for further escalation, and get every member on the record – so voters like us can see exactly where our lawmakers stand and hold them accountable now and at the polls this November.

  • Demand an investigation into the death of Nurul Amin Shah Alam
Nearly blind, unable to speak English, and living with serious medical conditions, Nurul was abandoned by Border Patrol agents miles away from his home in cold winter weather. He was a Rohingya refugee living in Buffalo. A father who just wanted to get home to his family and a home-cooked meal.  His family deserves to know why they weren't told where their father was. They deserve to know how he was treated and how this tragedy occurred. And they deserve to see those responsible for his death held accountable. Add your name to demand answers from the Trump administration for his family and all of us.

  • Break up Big Medicine, Lower Health Care Costs!
When just a few corporations dominate the system, they gain enormous power over prices and quality of care, and everyday people are left with fewer choices, worse care, and higher bills.   Members of Congress in both chambers are taking stock too—recognizing how these health care giants are making it nearly impossible for everyday people to access health care.  Just last week, Senator Elizabeth Warren introduced legislation to break up “Big Medicine”—conglomerates that have grown too large and too powerful. And last month, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called out CVS Health’s CEO over its health care monopoly in an explosive viral hearing. That’s why we need as many people as possible urging Congress to rein in Big Medicine and Big Pharma. There’s already some momentum, and with constituent pressure, we can actually get Congress to take action to stop the health care affordability crisis.  Add your name: It’s time to put patients first and end the monopolization of our health care system.

  • NFL: You've got an Epstein Problem
The powerful men who used Jeffrey Epstein to prey on young women need to be held accountable. No one in Epstein's orbit should be allowed to own an NFL team or any professional team. That's why the NFL needs to take swift action and cut ties with New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch IMMEDIATELY.  Every day that goes by and he remains co-owner of the Giants sends a message to NFL fans who find Epstein disgusting: We stand with the creeps, not the survivors.  The correspondence between Tisch and Epstein is all the evidence needed. In an exchange about one woman, Tisch emailed, “Is my present in NYC?” Epstein replied, “Yes.” Tisch followed up early the next morning, “Can I get my surprise to take me to lunch tomorrow?”

  • Stop apartment development on Kennedy Road
The proposed construction will drastically alter the landscape of the area, introducing high-density housing that could lead to increased traffic congestion, overstretched local services, and reduced green space, which are fundamental to our community’s character and environmental health. Residential neighborhoods, like those around Kennedy Road, have long been cherished for their peaceful atmosphere and open spaces — a sharp contrast to the urban density that these apartment complexes would bring. According to studies from the American Planning Association, rapid urban development can detrimentally impact local ecosystems, increase pollution levels, and diminish residents' quality of life. These significant shifts go against the values of sustainability and community well-being that are deeply important to the residents of Blacklick. Moreover, local wildlife, which currently thrives in this semi-natural environment, faces the threat of habitat disruption due to this planned construction. The potential ecological impact includes a reduction in biodiversity and challenges to the survival of native species, a concern supported by research from the World Wildlife Fund. The local infrastructure is already under strain, with schools, public transport, and emergency services stretched to their limits. Introducing a substantial number of new residents without proportionate enhancements to these services will inevitably lead to breakdowns and inefficiencies.

  • Petition to Remove Names Associated With Jeffrey Epstein From Public Institutions
Public institutions don’t just educate or treat patients; they signal what society considers acceptable. Refusing to honor individuals associated with Jeffrey Epstein draws a firm line that crimes against children are beyond excuse, influence, or reputation.  Educational institutions and hospitals serve children, young adults, trauma survivors, and people seeking help at their most vulnerable moments. For survivors of abuse, seeing these names can be retraumatizing and alienating. A trauma-informed stance requires minimizing harm—not perpetuating it through symbolic honors.  Universities and hospitals rely on public confidence. When institutions appear indifferent to well-documented associations with exploitation, they erode trust among students, parents, patients, staff, and the broader community. Taking a clear stance restores credibility and shows leadership is willing to act ethically, even when it’s uncomfortable.
