Whatever it takes - any branch of the federal government that can be influenced to overturn the Citizens United Ruling. This decision by the Supreme Court has had a tremendously negative impact on our political process and democratic principles and continues to challenge the very essence of which the United States of America was founded upon. Manufactured Homes do not qualify for the Government refinancing. Presently, there is NO one out there who will finance or refinance a Manufactured Home. This is discrimination! It has happened to me and millions of others. There are over 10 milliom people living in Manufactured homes. We cannot get any help! We are told that we have the wrong property type. Yes, we are a nation of immigrants, but we need to reduce immigration to traditional levels so that it does not drive population growth and unemployment. In the 1970’s, our population reached 200 million, and we wondered how we were going to preserve our environment. People started having fewer children, But the government drastically increased immigration (and ignored illegal migration) to the point where we are at 325 million. We’ll be at a half billion by mid century! Meanwhile we are running out of resources and trampling the environment. If we maintain our current immigration policy, our environment will be destroyed by overpopulation. This excessive growth is also causing wage depression and outright unemployment. We have massive unemployment, yet we are importing workers faster than we are creating jobs. This makes no sense.

Many Americans are out of work and suffering financially, and Republican Mitt Romney claims to have solutions for the nation's economic problems. However, he says he will not release his tax return until after the presidential election, and he has put millions of dollars in secret off-shore accounts to avoid paying federal taxes. Any person seeking to become President of the United States should be totally ethical and transparent in their financial dealings and pay their fair share of taxes to contribute to the common good. Mitt Romney needs to release his complete financial information so that Americans can judge for themselves whether he is trustworthy, has the nation's best interests at heart, and is playing by the same rules as the rest of us. "For where your teasure is, there will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:21)

Congress' reelection promised more jobs for the American people but in all actuality, their main focus has been to stop the President from passing any kind of job's bill. They should be held accountable for stalling legislation to put Americans back to work.

My petition is about the US mail. I am personally affected by it because I receive and send mail. I also work at a post office. Congress wants to gut mail delivery by closing processing plants among other things to delay the delivery of first class mail.

The United Nations won't allow any country to legalize marijuana like wine while it's a signatory of the Single Convention. As the federal marijuana prohibition causes FAR more harm than good and reduces the safety of our children, we need to END it. The only way to legalize adult marijuana sales is to either get marijuana removed from the Single Convention or for the U.S. to withdraw itself from the treaty.

Self explanatory, we (I) are only asking for the same rights as everyone else in this country. Other countries are far ahead of us, thinking we are rather backward in fact. If, indeed, in this country we are equal under the constitution, and we pay our taxes as everyone else does, then why are we denied this? The president, and most of the country (52%) are in favor of these equal rights. The opposition is the extreme conservative far right. This legislation will NOT, harm or damage the marriage legislation as it stands right now. It is this country's time to step up to the plate, join many other democratic countries, and finally make this a non-issue. We are not modeling a very good example of freedom for all.
