It has bee over twenty years since this epic tragedy. Yes a monument has been built to honor the victims. But we need a national holiday to dedicate and entire day for remembrance. We still have Columbus Day as a holiday government holiday which is controversial and has been found to not have good cause for a holiday. A holiday like Columbus Day could be stricken allowing a 9/11 Day or Twin Towers Day as a replacement so technically it doesnt add or subtract any holidays. This was a day that no American will ever forget, always remember where they were when it happened, and our country mourned like never before.

We should stand together as one to show neighborly love and concern for each other by supporting moving this symbol of slavery from the Seat of our Government.

This is important because although we are middle school students, we believe that we deserve to be trusted by our teachers. Furthermore, all games are blocked on our browser so there is no possibility that we are distracted by those games. With GoGuardian, teachers have the power to abruptly close students' tabs even if they are focused. We as students would feel much more comfortable if we knew that our teachers trusted us to complete our tasks. We understand that this may be a big change but with a mutual trust, I believe my peers and I would feel more assured in our learning experience.

Our country will not recover from COVID without our citizens uniting. We need to believe the educated health care professionals and not the lies. The ‘Trumpian’ governor’s and the Republican Party needs to hear our voices. The ‘Trumpian’ attitude needs to go away. After all, would you want your children, grandchildren or friends to act that way??? I personally find their behavior repulsive.

So many of us spend hundreds and thousands into good care for ourselves and our family. To be well is a human right. And those who have to depend on medicaid should have the same rights and the same good care that someone of high class or tax bracket should get. If this woman over here can get help with fertility then the next tax paying citizen should be able to have that option as well. If this man over here needs insulin and gets it based off good insurance. Then so should the man suffering with the same problem next to him. Call around and ask for yourself you tell me how many GOOD doctors or specialists accept medicaid. You will see exactly what I am trying to say. We the people keep the American machine running. We the people are america. We the people have the right and the obligation and responsibility to fight injustice.

Without taking action for the current and future of our community, we are being complacent and indirectly supporting these disruptive and dangerous behaviors. We should not have to be in supply of naloxone on a daily basis to be ready to help someone having an overdose . No one should have to clean human feces from the walls of their homes and cars. No one should have to pick up used needles from their front stoop to make sure their children wont step on them. We are pleading for your support and ACTION to protect the safety of our community.
