The National Emergency Employment Defense Act, HR 2990, will restore control of the monetary system and thereby the economy to the People of America through the Department of the Treasury. This legislation was first presented by Mr. Kucinich, D-Ohio, in December of 2010 but never received any attention from either Congress or the public. Recent polls have shown that over 40% of the electorate are Independents. As a Georgia native I was taught by this state's public school system. Among many things, I learned that everyone has rights, regardless of one's color, class or creed. It is wrong to legislate against hard-working people and their families because of misguided economic concerns or xenophobia. Georgia is better than that. We are better than that.
