• Congress: Pass HR2990, The National Emergency Employment Defense Act.
The National Emergency Employment Defense Act, HR 2990, will restore control of the monetary system and thereby the economy to the People of America through the Department of the Treasury. This legislation was first presented by Mr. Kucinich, D-Ohio, in December of 2010 but never received any attention from either Congress or the public. Today, with the continuing collapse of the economy and destruction of the American Middle Class, this second attempt is being endorsed by groups such as the 29,000 members of the Chicago Teachers Union. Please help take back the power to control our economy from the 1% and restore it to the American People.

  • Making Bath Salts Illegal: Safety for our Children
The products have also been linked to suicides, not to mention hospitalizations, and on Tuesday investigators confirmed the presence of bath salt drugs in the blood of a man who killed a sheriff's deputy in Tippah County, Miss., ABC News reported. One man barricaded himself in an attic with a rifle, Ryan said, vowing to "kill the monsters before they kill me," while another user vowed to remove their own liver with a mechanical pencil.02-04-2012 http://www.businessweek.com/lifestyle/content/healthday/649596.html

  • BC/BS AZ...STOP HEALTH INSURANCE RATE INCREASES!!
BC/BS Arizona health insurance rates have increased at an alarming rate. Far too many Arizonans are left without coverage and without medical care. This has become epidemic in our State. Please read this petition and help to bring attention to this dire situation that, at best, results in untreated illness and lost work time; and, in worst-case scenarios, disability, bankruptcy, and even death.

  • Restore EPIC -
Sick Seniors need Epic. If we have to rely on the Bush Donut Hole, we can not buy our medication. Epic was one thing the state republicans gave us & now a Democratic Governor wants to take it away. Yet the Governor is more concerned in protecting the super wealthy & not the elderly poor & sick.

  • Stop The Bias Against Independent Voters!
Recent polls have shown that over 40% of the electorate are Independents. If this were the private sector and that percentage of employees or customers were being discriminated against based on their political beliefs, there would be a monumental lawsuit. If primaries are not opened up to independents than take the party primary onto private property or the internet, and stop using public property, public voting machines for monopolistic partisan efforts. You may rate this and other electoral (and non-electoral) reform issues at... http://www.agreater.us/statestandings.php?state=CT

  • Save Georgia- Repeal HB87
As a Georgia native I was taught by this state's public school system. Among many things, I learned that everyone has rights, regardless of one's color, class or creed. It is wrong to legislate against hard-working people and their families because of misguided economic concerns or xenophobia. Georgia is better than that. We are better than that.

  • Getting Over the Pledge
We tax the poor and middle class more heavily than the rich. We don't have enough money to sustain schools, courts, public safety, or the environment. It is past time to address this issue.

  • RECALL JERRY BROWN NOW!
We as citizens of California NEED TO STOP JERRY BROWN from further destroying our State with his ill conceived and malicious ways of handling financial problems. The way to FIX our issues is not by cutting education or funding for animal shelters. The way to approach these issues is by looking at the HUGE WASTE of MONEY in Goverment Administration!
