Stop complaining and start signing!Seen lawn signs advising of veterans with PTSD? Watched your dog or cat try to hide in a closet or under a bed? Read the statistics about the related injuries to hands/fingers/ears/eyes? Called police about someone blowing up a mortar after midnight? Smelled the 'napalm' in the air? Heard about a fire caused by an inconsiderate 'patriot?' Is there really a need to buy and sell these products every day of the year - except to make money? Sign and let's let our lawmakers know they made a mistake in legalizing fireworks and firecrackers in Michigan. There are alternatives!34 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Phyllis Horowitz

Grandparents Rights AmendmentMy son, Arnold Irizarry, passed away 5 years ago, suddenly leaving his only daughter. After my Son passed away, I was not allowed to see my granddaughter because the mother got into a relationship and wouldn't allow me near my Granddaughter. I went to the court asking for " Visitation Rights", but the law establishes the Grandparent should have a parent-like relationship with the grandchild or be concerned about his/her safety. How can I have a parent-like relationship with my Granddaughter if I'm not allowed to see her? How can I know if she's been abused if I'm not allowed to come near her and the law doesn't protect my rights as a Grandmother? Grandparents are needed in children's lives; we provide support, safety, caring, love to this child. I need our voices to be heard and our rights to be respected and honored. We are blood-related to this child and it is not fair that we are kept away. In my case, my granddaughter recognizes me, remembers me, and suffers and cries every time she sees me and me I feel so depressed and I cry in silence every day for this girl because I adore her and she is the only thing I have left from my son. Please help me; please advocate for me and my rights.195 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Sandra Izquierdo

Reduce Single-Use Plastics in SummitWith the recent rupture in the recycling industry, and the continuing pollution caused by improperly handled plastics, Summit residents are adamant about reducing our reliance on single-use plastics in favor of more durable, and less wasteful, alternatives. Barnes & Noble in NYC Should Not Provide a Platform to Sean SpicerNew Yorkers should be outraged by Spicer's attempts to profit off his time as Press Secretary for the Trump administration. Donald Trump won't secure our elections -- it's up to usIt seems like Donald Trump will do anything to avoid addressing the threat of Russian election interference head on. Our election infrastructure remains extremely vulnerable. Outdated and insecure voting systems must be replaced. Voters must be able to mark paper ballots which they can verify -- and which can serve as a back up. Election results must be audited manually to establish high confidence that the outcome is correct. Our democracy depends on it. Americans expect their leaders to put their country before their party when facing an ongoing threat from a hostile foreign state. Tell election officials in your state and county to secure our elections and protect our democracy.48 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Common Cause

Stop the marijuana ban in HaverhillIn 2016, Haverhill voters by 56-44 percent backed the measure to replace marijuana prohibition with a regulated system of safe, taxed sales. Now the Haverhill City Council is proposing a ballot measure that would ban legal sales and deprive Haverhill of significant new taxes and jobs.286 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Haverhill Citizens for Safe Marijuana Sales

Reject Putin VisitI am abjectly horrified and deeply afraid for my country's ideals and the protection of our democracy after Trump's remarks and behavior at Helsinki. I feel we, as a country, are at a tipping point if not strong voices object to this visit. It's too much.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Terri Quirk

United States Congress: Forbid Secret Trump -- Putin ContactPresident Donald Trump has a proven track record of revealing United States intelligence to Russian officials and trying to circumvent US sanctions against Russia through secret communications with Russian oligarchs, officials, and Vladimir Putin. His unprecedented secret one-on-one meeting with Putin at Helsinki has resulted in Russian claims that he has made verbal agreements to actions that Congress and the American People have no knowledge of, nor gave him the authority to agree to. He has conducted himself recklessly and incompetently and has endangered the security, moral stature, and economic security of the Unites States and its Allies. The deadline for this Petition is July 31, 2018.167 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Kim Mills
