The Rebel flag and the mascot, as the Rebel, at South Newton High School in Kentland, Indiana is offensive and outdated. Please, help us to change this Mascot so the children attending can actually be proud of their school.

The NJ BEAR Group and our coalition of supporters asks Governor Murphy to honor his sacred promise and put a moratorium on the New Jersey bear hunt. We also ask our NJ legislature to enact and embrace bear smart legislation (for example Pedals Law). This legislation includes educating residents on ways to peacefully coexist with black bears. Containment of artificial food sources like garbage and bird feeders is key. Hunters are allowed to bait and shoot all bears including mothers and cubs with human food including doughnuts. Bows and arrows are allowed. This is cruel as this weapon has about a 50% wounding rate. This petition is to delay an appointment of a Supreme Court Justice to replace Justice Kennedy until after the November general election. The people must be able to vote for the candidate who best represents the majority. The wrong Justice could mean an end to Roe v Wade, LGBQT and immigrant rights and healthcare. In addition there will be an increase in more harsher and unequal laws on criminal justice sentencing and voting rights.

Making term limits on judges. No one should have a lifetime government position.

This petition is to get school lunches in Brooklyn, New York public schools to change. There have been many times where I have not eaten school lunch due to how horrible it is and I don’t have the energy to get through the day. With tastier lunches, students can have the energy to get through a full day.

To decrease the amount of plastic that ends up in landfills and oceans. At least 100 million marine mammals die due to plastic pollution in a year and effects at least 700 marine species. This case involves the Police murder of an unarmed Black Victim. Normal Defendants accused of criminal homicide are NEVER given bail nor house arrest. The Allegheny County Judicial system has shown its prejudice by granting bond and house arrest to a Police Officer accused of murdering an unarmed African American male.

Our property tax is going up every year, which makes our mortgages go up every year. Property tax is getting out of control. Politicians with the elected offices must find a new mechanism in solving this problem. Home owners can no longer afford this yearly increases in property tax anymore.
