• Say NO to drilling in our oceans!
Trump wants to open protected areas of the Gulf of Mexico, Alaska and the Atlantic and Pacific regions to drilling. This could be devastating for fragile marine ecosystems and coastal communities. The Interior Department is seeking public input on Trump's plan. This is your chance to speak up and stop the giveaways to Big Oil. But the deadline is next week -- so we need you to speak up NOW! Help us reach 25,000 comments: Stop Trump from handing over our oceans to Big Oil!

  • Tell the governor of Edo State: Protect forests and local land rights!
Edo State, located in Nigeria's tropical forest, is facing some of the highest rates of deforestation in Africa. And a recent order by the state's governor will give over 345,000 acres of land to a foreign palm oil company. These forests are held sacred by local indigenous communities who have resided here since time immemorial. “The water in our streams is very clean and clear and has healing properties,” says local Chief Esogban of Umokpe “We clean up the stream every year. This is sacred land. If Okumu Palm Oil Company comes here, things will go wrong.” We need your help to urge to the governor of Edo State to cancel this palm oil concession! Tell the governor of Edo State to protect the forest!

  • Ask Costco to use cardboard, not plastic
We are environmentally conscious mothers, grandmothers, and Costco members who are aware that for every ounce of plastic produced, between one and five ounces of greenhouse gases are made. As a company with roots in the Northwest, Costco is in the position to influence vendors to be more responsible to the health of members and their children.
