• Fire Donald J. Trump
We The People of the United States of America cannot tolerate an anti-democratic president who lies, abuses power, breaks the law, suppresses the truth, silences scientific experts, spreads propaganda, incites hatred and racism, refuses to lead in a responsible or thoughtful manner and refuses to act in the country’s best interest. Our “democratic” system has failed us when a minority of the population elects our President. We, the majority, will not tolerate this inept sociopath any longer. We cannot wait for the next election while Trump and his allies chip away at our Democracy. They must be removed now and replaced with an Interim President who can start to heal and guide the nation in a responsible way until we can have a free and fair election, hopefully this November. The Electoral College must be abolished to prevent this type of dangerous and irresponsible person from ever gaining power again.

  • National No Confidence Vote on Donald Trump and His Administration
This action is important for so many reasons, such as Mr. Trump and his administration’s: 1) racist and violent rhetoric; 2) dangerous refusal to sufficiently handle the current COVID-19 pandemic and its numerous associated issues; 3) shameful detention of immigrants and their families; 4) purposeful raiding of taxpayer funds to benefit the richest segment of US citizens; 5) flagrant unethical and unlawful behaviors; and 6) other issues too numerous to mention. - - - We must make our disapproval unequivocal. Please lend your voice to this political action. - - - “There is a power that can be created out of pent-up indignation, courage, and the inspiration of a common cause, and that if enough people put their minds and bodies into that cause, they can win. It is a phenomenon recorded again and against in the history of popular movements against injustice all over the world.” ― Howard Zinn, You Can't Be Neutral on a Moving Train: A Personal History of Our Times

  • Equality for NH Nail Salons - Help us Reopen!
    1. We have had numerous calls from clients requesting us to come to their homes. Nail Technicians will eventually start doing nails at home and in client's homes. When this happens, sanitation requirements are not going to be able to be followed properly and exposure will become heightened. 2. Many Nail Technicians have received unemployment and it will give them some income. For most nail technicians, this is not enough as most of their income comes from the commission and the tips that they make. 3. For the self-employed, it is even more of a struggle trying to manage both home and work bills. Having no source of income, lease agreements to pay rent, along with many other expenses that come from being self-employed, this puts many of us under stress that is effecting our mental health. 4. Many nail technicians and nails salons have now been without income since the businesses have closed back in March. A lot of salon owners are facing financial hardship and the longer the salons stay closed, the more possibility of some of us having to close our doors permanently. Please ask Governor Sununu to Consider us as an essential business and allow us to reopen. Thank you for Support & Consideration.

  • Inmate Dies of COVID19 Locked in Shower by Prison Guards
I am the mother of one of Tiffany's 4 grandchildren. My child is 4 years old currently, and was 1 years old the last time she seen her grandmother alive. Tiffany died on April 29th, 2020 in Edna Mahan Correctional Facility. Tiffany was experiencing symptoms of COVID19 for two weeks and was placed in solitary confinement amid her suffering. She was locked in a shower, and complained of shortness of breath as she passed out multiple times before any prison staff came to check on her. The prison staff tried to revive her unconscious body multiple times, but she was dead before anyone let her out of the shower. Tiffany was a loving grandmother to all of her grandchildren. My daughter will never get to meet her grandmother again. Tiffany got through her prison sentence by holding on to hope that she would be able to see her grandchildren again. I am asking for your help to petition the NJDOC Commissioner and Governor to help bring real prison reform to our NJ state prison systems. There are countless inmates who are afraid for their lives due to witnessing the death of Tiffany Mofield. If we can get this petition signed by as many people as we can, together we can shed light on the horrific prison conditions our friends and loved ones face. Commissioner Hicks and Governor Murphy should provide transparency to our citizens of the State of NJ so that we are confident in our prison system's practices regarding inmate fair access to health care and humane treatment. We need a prompt and thorough investigation into Tiffany's death and her medical treatment up until she died. Help the family of Tiffany Mofield get Justice and bring change to our prison systems.

  • Let's Abolish Capital Punishment in the U.S.A!
Capital punishment is an issue in the United States of America. There are many states that have currently legalized and retained the right to execute criminals for their crimes. Capital punishment is a cruel and unusual punishment, it is more costly than imprisonment, and many innocent lives are being taken because of it. Capital punishment should be abolished in the United States of America. First, capital punishment should not be legal because it is a cruel and unusual punishment. There are many different methods of execution, but not a single one is better than the other. All are heinous. Cruel and unusual punishments consist of lethal injection, hanging, gas chamber, electric chair, firing squad, and beheading. It is understandable that criminals deserve the worst for the horrific crimes that they commit, but death is not the answer.  Next, capital punishment shouldn't be allowed because it is more expensive than a prison sentence. All the lawyers, judges, and other personnel put more hours into preparing, trying, and reviewing the issues, given that a life is at stake. In addition to the people who are participating in the trial, the equipment required to perform the execution is also very costly. If a criminal just got sentenced to jail, it would be a lot less expensive and the person would still be alive. Lastly, capital punishment should be abolished because many innocent people are being killed. The death penalty carries the inherent risk of executing an innocent person. Since 1973, more than 165 people who had been wrongly convicted and sentenced to death in the U.S. have been exonerated. Capital punishment should no longer exist because many people who are guilty of nothing have been killed. Unless it is absolutely certain that the person who is thought to be guilty actually is, nobody should be executed. In conclusion, capital punishment is a big problem and it only leads to more problems. Death should not be permitted. People deserve a second chance in life and they can't use their second chance if they are dead. We are on a mission to abolish capital punishment. So, who's with us?

  • National Strike
COVID 19 eliminates the ideas of a large march or protest. We need a weapon at our disposal. May 13, 2020, the Supreme court will make a ruling. Rachel Maddow fears it will be a decision about Trump being "above the law" and no rules applying to him. (The Court normally rules on narrow points of law, but this conservative court is unpredictable.) We must demonstrate we will not tolerate the destruction of democracy.

  • Reunite a Family
This is important to me because the system is corrupted and removes children and husbands every day from their family, and this shouldn’t have happened to this family. The parents are really good parents; if you ever met them you would fall in love with them, and it warms my heart to see how they both interact with their children when they had them home.

  • Save Our Salons
It is important that both Governors stop using fear mongering language directed at the beauty industry because they are making consumers unnecessarily afraid to return to their favourite salon or spa and preventing in home services where allowed. Governor Cuomo insists salon and barbershop professionals are non essential and Governor Newsom without any facts is spreading a lie that coronavirus started in a nail salon in California. It is irresponsible and damaging to an entire industry. Both Governors Cuomo and Newsom are preventing professionals from making an income indefinitely even though we have followed their shelter in place mandates. Many salon owners will lose their businesses through no fault of their own and never be able to reopen while leaving them in massive financial debt. This not only hurts them as a business owner but the people they employ and the communities they serve which is not limited to salons and spas. Licensed beauty professionals serve our senior communities by working in retirement and rehabilitation facility salons. We volunteer at city hospitals to bring services to patients that are not able to get to otherwise. We participate in charities, fundraisers and fashions shows. We provide services for the media and for entertainment. The disdain they have for the salon and beauty industry goes far beyond the four walls of any beauty or Barber shop and will inevitably effect every single person on both of their states if they don’t work with of instead of against us.

  • Gov. Kemp, We Call on You to Suspend DA Jackie Johnson Immediately !
In the matter of the violent death of Ahmaud Arbery at the hands of Travis McMichael and his father Greg McMichael, and a supporting statement made by Glynn County Commissioner Allen Booker, to wit “The police at the scene went to her, saying they were ready to arrest both of them. These were the police at the scene who had done the investigation,” the Commissioner, who has spoken with Glynn County police, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “She shut them down to protect her friend McMichael.” If the facts as cited here prove to be true, then Ms. Johnson intervened in a criminal investigation and prevented follow-up action by the appropriate authorities, the Brunswick Police Department, and denied additional investigation, criminal charges to be filed or presentation to a Grand Jury for possible charges. Her actions to shield the McMichaels from criminal investigation and / or prosecution need to be investigated and, if confirmed, call for her to not only be formally removed from office, beyond the suspension, but also to be criminally prosecuted, if that is appropriate.

  • To Governor McMaster: Extend Vote by Mail to All South Carolina Voters
The Covid-19 Pandemic is still going strong and scientists expect a second surge in the fall of 2020. With little testing and no vaccine in sight for Covid-19, voting in person will be risking your life. Already Wisconsin voters were forced to vote in person even though they asked for the election to be postponed until conditions were safer. Many then tested positive for the virus. We don't want that in South Carolina. Act now for the good of the entire state, Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. We should not have to risk our lives to vote.
