As well known, there have been many town halls across the country, where constituents voice their own thoughts to their representatives. But while Representative Ted Lieu of California has been vocal against Trump, he has yet to actually do a physical town hall meeting, instead opting to do a phone-in one, which lacks the impact of being in-person. And I, and many others in his district, want to give voice to what we think, and suggestions for the future, while knowing it might happen.

In this day and age of increasing authoritarianism and nationalistic sabre-rattling, the importance of knowledge and an informed public cannot be ignored. As someone growing up during the Bush years, I do not wish to see the powerful function in secret, nor as a history major to see things such as the idiocy and human rights violations of the superpowers during the Cold War repeated again, with possibly disastrous results, for humanity, for wildlife, and the planet. By releasing the files of the intelligence community and previous agencies, we can be informed on past activities, legal and not, and make better decisions as a voting public on topics such as national security and wars.

To give Americans their own AUTHENTIC voice that is independent of politics, and a dysfunctional system which isn't working for the well-being of the people. Such a voice can direct attention to what the PEOPLE want, instead of the self-interested agenda of the political parties who, by waging WAR on each other, have thereby crippled governance.

Arizona Senate Bill 1500 and Arizona House Bill 2456 require a candidates for the office of president of the United States to submit a copy of the their federal and state income tax returns for the immediately preceding five years. Tell the Arizona state legislature to vote YES on these bills, so voters know the financial ties that candidates have before they vote for president of the United States.

Only RICH people can afford to run for office. This ought not be. ANY qualified person should be able to run for office. EVERY CANDIDATE should have PRECISELY EQUAL AIR/MEDIA TIME at NO COST TO THE CANDIDATE (so that no one candidate has an unfair advantage merely by having deep pockets and an ability to greatly OUTSPEND opponents). Done right this could help eliminate POLITICAL DEBT and FAVORS (in terms of, "You helped elect me, now I'm going to make you Sec'y of State) . . . that kind of BS.

Not enough people vote for a so-called "winner" of an election to have an actual "mandate." WHY not make voting mandatory? There's no downside to doing so -- only an UP side.

TWICE (in my lifetime) the winner of the POPULAR VOTE *lost* the election. This ought not be. In the last election the ELECTORAL COLLEGE FAILED TO ACT PROPERLY. The college is not there to merely "rubber stamp" someone's victory -- not if there are signs and indications that someone is not "fit" to serve.

President Trump has attacked Syria without Congressional authorization, violating the U.S. Constitution. Congress must assert its war powers, invoking the Constitution and the War Powers Resolution. Congress must insist that no further attacks take place without Congressional authorization and that U.S. forces be withdrawn from unauthorized conflict. Congress must invoke the War Powers Resolution to debate and vote on a privileged resolution for the withdrawal of U.S. forces if President Trump refuses to remove U.S. forces from the conflict. Urge your Senators and Representative to invoke the War Powers Resolution to compel withdrawal of U.S. forces from the conflict by signing our petition.

Each morning I wake up at 4 am to the latest corporate controlled headline$ on Scamalot, as #BIGNEW$ attempts to keep profiting off the demise of humanity and dignity by focusing on rating$ over truth. It's time to end the unfunny farce by forcing a Big Reveal on the "spammy" "messaging" sent by "Project Alamo" to the minds of microtargeted Americans, who didn't stand a chance of being able to sort through the real fake lie$ being pushed their way by $camalot's filthy lucre. These digihack$ were praised in media... from Forbes to Businessweek.... lauded for winning the election. They were praised in Texas newspapers for creating jobs, when in fact they were being paid handily to corrupt American minds with a Russian-military style manipulation of truth and disinformation campaign. In multiple billionaire-owned media reports, "Project Alamo" digi-groupie$ specifically explained the strategy: both named and unnamed sources said they "microtargeted" ethnic Americans, women and millennial voters with "dark" Facebook "spammy" ads that only the microtargeted users could see. In these same reports, Facebook indicated it won't release these ad$. One is described as a "South Park"-style cartoon microtargeted to African American Facebook users in Florida of Hillary Rodham Clinton, mi$branding her as a racist on a quote from 20 years ago (just a year after the #GOPModerne cottage-indu$try of ba$hing Senator/Secretary of State Clinton was born by a Nixon speechwriter in the New York Times). If ad$ such as those created by the marketeer$ of "Project Alamo" are merely garden variety political mudslinging, then why not release them? Let's force these clandestine operators out of their bunker$ and into the interrogation light, because it's time for citizens to see how their minds were twisted away from the truth by a gaslighting regime that only knows one racket: money. As a black female, I no longer want to stand by and say nothing; it is up to us at the grassroots level to speak up and condemn Senator Cotton's unfortunate and outrageous name-calling of another woman, especially a black woman who has served our country proudly, as has Ambassador Susan Rice. Last week, Congresswoman Maxine Waters was disparaged by Bill O'Reilly; this week, Ambassador Susan Rice was vilified by Tom Cotton. Instead of bragging about this, Senator Cotton should refrain from this behavior in the future and apologize to Ambassador Rice. Now.
