I'm beyond sick of legislators taking corporate money to keep from doing their jobs. For too long now this has been a major issue in our government. And the problem is getting worse. The supreme court's recent decision to allow corporations to give unlimited amounts of money to lawmakers was absolutely inexcusable.

The California DISCLOSE Act (SB 52) would turn the tide on unlimited secret money in politics by exposing those who try to buy elections with deceptive ads. SB 52 will make all TV, radio, and print ads for ballot measures show their top three REAL funders clearly and prominently. No hiding in fine print behind front groups. The bill is close to passage but now some of the biggest interests in Sacramento are trying to stop it. Sign our petition to demand the Assembly pass the California DISCLOSE Act today.

I am a former volunteer to get Obama and Biden Reelected. I worked my ass off every chance I got, and I got Obama and Biden reelected, and seeing this suing the President by the Republican House, it makes me angry, that my hard work might go down the drain, just because Republicans can't win! The WV Public Service Commission is investigating WV American Water's response to the January 9th chemical spill that contaminated the drinking water for 300,000 of its customers. The deadline for public comment in October 7th.

The proliferation of fact checking groups/activities demonstrates the explosion of questionable information being generated everywhere. Though the fact checking efforts are laudable, many/most times, when the information is found to be deceptive, the people that produced it are not held accountable. Americans are renouncing their citizenship at alarming rates, the IRS has seen its budget cut and is still being tasked with chasing people who do not reside in the country. Is it moral to tax someone who does not live in the country and whose income is not derived from the country? Citizenship based taxation is a relic of the Civil War when the Union attempted to punish the Confederacy for seceding by taxing all, ''citizens'' (persons born on American soil) and was not repealed following the reunification of our country. President Obama chided Americans for being, ''lazy'' in foreign investment, but investing abroad often entails residing abroad and double taxation discourages this. Residency based taxation would make Americans more competitive abroad, reduce the burden on the IRS and is the morally the right thing to do.

Because they do not have Rule of ethics,
