  • Label GMO's in Oregon
We have the right to know what we are eating so we can make wise, health conscious decisions about what we eat and put into our bodies. GMO's have been shown to cause a host of ailments in the bodies of both humans and animals including, but not limited to, GI issues and are not proven safe for consumption. Both my daughter and I have been affected personally by GMO's and have friends who have lost pregnancies because of GMO's. It's time we join 64 other world countries and label GMO's and understand they are not in the world's best interest.

  • Don't gamble our children's health! Label GMOs
One in three children now have a brain or psychiatric disorder. Psychiatric drug use in children has tripled in the last decade. Research suggests genetically-modified foods greatly interfere with critical brain nutrients such as magnesium. Animal research suggests major gastrointestinal inflammation is triggered, fertility is impaired, and tumors in offspring are concerns.

  • New Yorkers deserve to know if GMOs are in their food
GMO consumption is possibly linked to cancer, for one thing. Who doesn't have a family member who has been affected by cancer? Could GMOs have contributed? We can't even answer because we don't know if they are in our food or not.

  • Fathers rights 50/50 shared parenting plan
Children need their fathers and many of us are being pushed aside antiquated laws and ideas about men not being able to nurture. We must act and allow fathers like myself to have consistent involvement with their children regardless of the relationship with the mother.

  • Em: Stop Talking to that Douchebag
I am personally affected by this issue because it's a constant source of texts, gchats, screenshot-sends, snapchats, tweets and general points of conversation. It is crucial to womankind to have this faux-lationship end and the madness stop. Please sign and help my friend, your friend, all women everywhere to move on past 'taken but miserable' men. Thanks!

  • Demand Ralph Lauren stop exploiting the UFW’s logo!
Just a few months ago, the UFW found its registered trademark black eagle logo being printed and sold by Urban Outfitters without permission on t-shirts for a whopping $65! The Latino community was in an uproar over this exploitation of our culturally rich and historic mark. Thanks to this outspoken support, Urban Outfitters contacted the UFW within hours of receiving a letter from our attorneys. Since then the UFW has been in good faith discussions with Urban Outfitters for reparations and future insurance against such violations. Cesar Chavez’ brother Richard designed the UFW Black Eagle so that union members could easily draw it on handmade red flags. Cesar said: “A symbol is an important thing. That is why we chose an Aztec eagle. It gives pride...When people see it they know it means dignity.” Ralph Lauren’s expropriation of the UFW’s Black Eagle dishonors the trademark and those who have fought and died for the integrity it represents. It falsely implies the UFW may have endorsed Ralph Lauren clothing, damaging the UFW’s extensive good will. Send Ralph Lauren a strong message that you will not stand for this. Send an e-mail to Ralph Lauren demanding Ralph Lauren respect the Latino community and UFW by immediately pulling all infringing products from its shelves. Tell Ralph Lauren that their misappropriation of the UFW's trademark logo that represents pride and dignity for our community will not be tolerated.

  • Ban private use of fireworks in Florida
Fireworks are no longer just used on the 4th of July, they are now being used to celebrate Memorial Day, Labor Day, Christmas and New Years Eve and they are used days and weeks leading up to and beyond the Holiday. The noise terrifies our domestic animals as well as local wildlife, they are a nuisance, a fire hazard and a danger to humans and other species. Local law enforcement is often unable to locate those violating the laws already in place or unable to respond to the number of complaints they are receiving.
