NOTE: The proposed City Council restriction on the educational tours and tastings ordinance (which is already Georgia State Law) would prevent all Savannah breweries from hosting private events (including future breweries for Coastal Empire Brewing Co and Service Brewing Co.). Southbound Brewing Company is a new brewery in Savannah, Georgia, and the city is voting on an ordinance on August 22, 2013 that would restrict their business practices, such as private events and possibly educational tours of the brewery. However, Georgia State Law allows for all Georgia breweries to conduct tours and have private events. Why should Southbound Brewing Co.'s business practices be hindered? It's unfair and would make Savannah an unfavorable place for other potential breweries to open. Breweries are job producers and good for the growing artisan and “support local” movements. Also, breweries are statistically shown to be charitable. Southbound for example donates their spent grain to the Bethesda Boys Academy, and 100% of production breweries give to charity organizations and participate in fundraising events for charities. 47% of our production breweries report that they regularly volunteer and in Georgia alone craft breweries reportedly donated $172,000 to charity organizations in 2012. I am a craft beer lover, small business advocate and want to see Savannah thrive and believe having a stronger craft beer scene will help our local economy and culture. Currently, there is a vacancy on the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. It is imperative that an African American candidate be considered to ensure that there is diversity on the Court. Racial equality is an important factor that must be considered.

Earlier this summer, my neighbor found a dead doe in her woods. Soon, she heard the crying of two, days old fawns. She was told that if the Fish and Game Department was called they would shoot the fawns, so she listened to them cry of two days. When she told me, I went into the woods and was able to bring one fawn out. My neighbor and I cared for her for a week while I tried to find a safe rehabilitation center to bring her to. At the end of the week, just hours before transporting her to a safe place, a Fish and Game Warden arrived at my home while I was away, searched my property (without a search warrant), found the fawn on my back porch, seized her and shot her. This kind of cruel and traumatic behavior will continue each spring in Vermont unless people speak out and strongly object to this policy. Please help.

I believe Public safety should be the Township of Denville's highest priority there fore I oppose Ord. 17-13 to amend Ch.19 land use, for Rehabilitation of 30 Estling Lake Road, which calls for 100 rental units on 7.2 acres on a dead end street with one point of exit & entry, which is blocked daily by New Jersey Transit Train Schedule being the Denville Train Station.
