Stop the Social Security CutsTell President Obama to leave our Social Security alone. It does not belong to the United States government, it belongs to the citizens of this country who have slaved at their jobs and paid into it. If the United States government cuts Social Security or the cost of living adjustments then they should be sued for stealing money from the people who voted them into their offices. They are supposed to be working us (the People), not us working for them. Take a stand on making the rich pay their fair share in taxes, not cutting Social Security, and cost of living adjustments. I remember not to long ago, that every year we all got cost of living raises, and when they stopped coming is when our economy changed and started going downhill. Please stop trying to cut the throats of the only people who keep this country keep going. It is time to wake up and smell the coffee, people.236 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Raymond F. Kelley

Do Not Cut Social SecurityPresident Obama has proposed cutting Social Security by lowering cost-of-living adjustments for current and future retirees. These cuts, sometimes called "chained CPI," will hurt seniors who have paid into the system for their whole lives and are already struggling with rising health care costs. If the President insists on pushing these cuts, then it's up to Democrats in Congress, including New Jersey Rep. Donald Payne, to say no.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by William Bryant, III

MARK UDALLStop any cuts to Social Security: I have rail road retirement I have paid dearly into for 38 years far more then ones who paid into SS. When SS STARTS cuts then it will effect money I paid into rail road retire ment. The president said awhile back his poor mom on SS and that one thing he not cut. - Maybe high people in office needs to start cutting first on thier big retirements. Most people getting 800 to 900 on SS. My God can you make it on that? And then cut it even more. And Obama care who knows. It was to make our lifes better but think it will not help the poor & elderly .1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Vincent Stewart

Do Not Cut Social SecurityRep. Paul Tonko, I will be 57 years old in one month and have been paying into social security all my life. Social Security is very important to me to be able to retire and to pay future bills. Social Security should NOT be a target of cuts or by lowering cost-of-living adjustments for current and future retirees. The goverment should stop raiding SS to pay for anything else. Thank you.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John E. Marciniak Jr.

Save Social SecurityPlease keep Social Security for those who are baby boomers. We are counting on it. I live on a limited pension from 38 years of teaching. In my retirement planning I factored in my Social Security benefit. To change it now at the beginning of my retirement is unconscionable.744 of 800 SignaturesCreated by Kathleen Waldron

Cuts to Social SecurityMany older Americans like me are already struggling just to survive. Making cuts to an already far-too-meager income will force more of us into a corner from which we cannot escape. It's our money, not an entitlement.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by merry Laporta

Do Not Cut Social SecurityMy husband just started collecting the Social Security that he and his employers have contributed all his working life. SS is not an Entitlement! It's his rightful retirement, his only retirement. I want to make sure my daughter will be given her SS when she is ready. The is America-the government should not mess with our ability to live with at least that small amount of money to help pay the bills.4,080 of 5,000 SignaturesCreated by Christine Tanier
