Alabama does not support its veteransThe State budget for our state's veterans, along with all other state agencies, has caused a withering of the vine. Our vets and their dependents, from WWII up to Afghanistan are not being served due to massive state wide office closures & severe personnel losses.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by norma russell

Save our US Postal ServiceSave our US Postal Service as we know it and need it. Through ruthless demands of Congress, Postal Offices in small cities like mine will disappear unless the rule of paying 75 years of pension in just ten years is repealed.7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Betty Gaiser

Save the US Postal ServiceThe Postal Service has targeted 4,500 post offices for closure and 230 processing plants for consolidation. The Postmaster General says he plans to close half of the country's 32,000 post offices over the next few years. The closings and consolidations won't save the Postal Service — they'll destroy it. Tell Congress and the President to extend the moratorium , while the country has a more thoughtful discussion about the future of the Postal Service.331 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Richard Brown

Advocating For Those in Need of Advocation! As a member of The National Exchange Club a main goal is the Prevention of Child Abuse. With certain budget cuts to in need will be ignored or put in jeopardy. Children are a target of abuse in many scenarios not just in the home. Preventing child abuse must be a priority in our country let alone our state. Many of the state funded programs targeted to help children whether education, housing or nutrition are being sliced and diced. Where there should be more allotment in these areas there are cuts. This is unacceptable. If we do anything in this world, we must protect our children.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Catherine Nochella
