Censure McConnell for Refusing Garland a HearingMcConnell has defied long standing procedural rules by not only refusing to hear a legitimate sitting President's Supreme Court nominee but also threatens to change Senate rules in order to overcome a Democratic filibuster of the radical Gorsuch, nominated by Trump, under investigation for treason. Send a clear message that this won't be tolerated.143 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Linda Acosta, J.D.

#DropOReillyO'Reilly has used his position of power on the network to prey on vulnerable women and attempt to force himself sexually on them--harassing subordinates with disgusting phone calls and threatening to fire them for not giving in to his lewd and misogynistic advances. Enough is enough. Tell "The O'Reilly Factor" advertisers to #DropOReilly now!46,330 of 50,000 SignaturesCreated by Rashad Robinson

Congress: Stand up for Syrian Civilians Facing Chemical AttacksOn the anniversary of Martin Luther King's death, I attended and was moved by an interfaith media briefing in Chicago hosted by the Council on American-Islamic Relations. The panel addressed the horrific chemical attack in the city of Khan Sheikhoun where hundreds were killed or injured, including children. There are severe medical needs as reported by SAMS rescue group. Since moral leadership is lacking at the political level, we the people must condemn this holocaust and STAND UP. Let's honor the spirit of Martin Luther King.42 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Nancy Kelly-Martin

Change the sentence of Grant HunterHe is my first kiss, first love, and high school sweetheart. I have known him 14 years and dated him on and off throughout that time. We are now engaged to be married, despite his crime. I am wanting to be with him out here though, not separated. So I am fighting to get him home. I know his character and that wasn't him. He had a drug problem, but he has changed in the years since getting arrested for this crime, and he is ready to be a productive member of society if released!10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dana Martin

Oppose the nuclear option. We seem to be losing our democracy and since the Supreme Court is the last resort to defend our rights, confirming a nominee should require buy in from both parties to keep the court not becoming even more partisan. This time the Republicans are in control but that will not always be true.117 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Diana Smith

"Senator Heller: Oppose Nuclear Option"We are calling on Senator Dean Heller to oppose changing the Senate's rules to rush through a lifetime appointment, especially while the Trump administration is under criminal investigation. On Friday, the full Senate will likely vote on Trump's right-wing Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch and fortunately, at least 41 Democrats are planning to stand strong and filibuster to stop his confirmation. But now that Democrats have effectively blocked the 60 vote threshold for Gorsuch's nomination, Republicans are threatening to change the rules by invoking the "nuclear option" to rush through Gorsuch's confirmation. Only ONE Republican needs to oppose the "nuclear option" to shut down this reckless power grab. Let's send a strong message to Senator Heller we are watching he needs to oppose Nuclear Option to protect Nevada and our country. Gorsuch stands with corporations not individual rights.50 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Judith Corbisiero

Volkswagen: Stop advertising on "The O'Reilly Factor" and Fox NewsFollowing a report from The New York Times that five women have received more than $13 million in settlements for sexual harassment claims against Fox News host Bill O'Reilly, more than 20 companies and several car manufacturers—including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Mitsubishi, Lexus, and Hyundai—have dropped advertising from "The O'Reilly Factor" program. But Volkswagen—which owns the Audi car company that promoted women's equality in an uplifting Super Bowl ad on Fox in February—has not joined in the advertising boycott. This is no surprise about O'Reilly, whose misconduct has been known for years. But finally, companies are standing up against supporting serial abusers like O'Reilly. And It makes Volkswagen and Audi's advertising on Fox all the more egregious, as they just recently tried to score points for an equality-themed advertising campaign. Tell Volkswagen and Audi to cancel all current and future advertising on "The O'Reilly Factor" and Fox News until Bill O'Reilly is held accountable for his despicable history of sexual harassment.1,462 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Maria Tchijov

Oppose 287(g) in Knox County287(g) is an immigration enforcement program that deputizes local law enforcement to act as immigration officials. Research shows that 287(g) erodes community trust in local police and sheriff's offices, drains local resources, and separates families. It, also, leads to significant increase in civil rights violations and racial profiling. Knox County in particular with its already long history of civil rights violations, racial profiling, and jail overcrowding, would be a terrible candidate for such a program. Thus, Knox County Sheriff's Office's Application for 287(g) should be opposed. Sign this petition and TIRRC's letter to Secretary Kelly and Acting Director Homan to deny Knox County's 287(g) application.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Joseph Kwon
