We call on amazon to follow the lead of Walmart and stop selling Confederate flag merchandise. It would be an important start toward ending public acceptance of this symbol of hate.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership will affect everyone in the U.S. as well as everyone on our precious planet. It is dangerous. Its damage can't be estimated at all - to humans, to all forms of life, and to the environment. Its effects on climate change are potentially disastrous.

The Confederate flag has rightfully come under scrutiny in the wake of the racially-motivated murder of nine Black people at a church in Charleston, South Carolina. Recent photos of the murderer showed him posing next to his car with Confederate flag license plates. Virginia should stop issuing license plates that bear this image. Virginia is one of only nine states that still permit this hateful symbol on government-issued plates. The Supreme Court recently ruled that license plates represent government speech, not private speech, and that states may constitutionally refuse to issue such plates. While some may have displayed the Confederate flag for other reasons, it has overwhelmingly come to symbolize racism, and the defense of slavery and segregation. We should send a clear message that Virginia does not stand for these things.

Flagrant Human Rights Violations affect us all. If ignored in one place, it pops up in another place.

The Escambia County Commission and the majority of the five commissioners have voted to continue to fly the Confederate Flag over the Civic Center. In addition, the local governments continue to fly the Confederate flag in its marketing and promotion of the Pensacola Bay area as the "city of five flags." All of the Confederate flags symbolize the willingness of those states to secede from The United States of America. All Confederate flags are anti-American and symbolize the so noted "cornerstone of the Confederacy" which has been stated as the superiority of the white race and the inferiority of the Negro. That cornerstone statement is not a legacy of southern heritage and culture to be celebrated or commemorated in the symbol of the Confederate flag. Sign to take all Confederate flags down.

In South Carolina, a young man entered a church and sat there for an hour among his victims. He had planned this for months and has declared himself a racist and hates, Blacks, Mexicans and Jews. These people have not done anything to him and this was a hate crime. Personally this did not affect me, but a crime against my people, my Black people, is a crime against me. The Confederate flag should be removed from all license plates, and any merchandise that has this racist flag on it. It is time to take a stand and stop this behavior and stop the printing presses from printing another Confederate flag.

Representation allows the rich Elite to bribe, threaten, and corrupt our representatives. They are obviously ALREADY corrupted beyond belief from the actions they are taking like trying to pass TPP trade deals which puts Corporations ABOVE United States Law!!! The *ONLY* answer is TRUE Democracy as the elite could never afford to bribe or threaten EVERYBODY.

The Confederate flag is not a symbol of southern pride but rather a symbol of rebellion and racism. On the heels of the brutal killing of nine Black people in a South Carolina church by a racist terrorist, it's time to put that symbol of rebellion and racism behind us and move toward healing and a better United States of America!

The Troubled Teen Industry (TTI) is a billion dollar for profit industry. Harsh methods of "treatments" and isolation set the child up for a lifetime of issues. TTIs need to be regulated. I have a very personal reason and concerns about TTIs.

This petition is about getting justice for people directly affected by racism. Racism should not be acceptable as dialogue disguised as a news story. I suppose the only way I am affected is that I have been watching the eroding standards of journalism for the last 40 years and I don't like in my face racist rantings especially disguised as news dialogue.

It's long past time to stop offending our brothers and sisters for whom this flag represents the worst of our past behavior. Let's move on towards peace, respect and community.
