The sources of information people are exposed to are able to tell the story in their own way so it is imperative that the sources and funding of the information be made transparent in order to preserve the honesty of the news. More information about anyone involved in this process and their motivations only imporoves the value of the news.

Koch money shouldn't influence public television programming -- we want to see the film "Citizen Koch" aired on PBS! Public television should not be subjected to censorship by billionaires. Air the program "Citizen Koch!"

But public television stations should answer to viewers like me, not to billionaires like the Koch brothers -- and I want to see this important documentary. Uphold Oregon statute ORS 634.322 (6) (c) which states, in part, that the State Department of Agriculture “is authorized to establish limitations and procedures deemed necessary and proper for the protect of…pollinating insects, bees” by making permanent the 180 day temporary ban on systemic neonicotinoids which are implicated worldwide in colony collapse in a mounting body of scientific evidence.

Three times I have been called and informed that a friend has been lost to heroin. Two out of three of these did not have to end in death - the other person or people doing the drugs with them failed to call for help in a timely manner when my friends overdosed. In one of these instances they waited for HOURS. Why were they not arrested at once? Why is an investigation needed? The doctor said this friend would have lived if help was sought after immediately. It seems pretty cut and dry.... intentional negligence is claiming lives when these people could have been saved. It is happening all the time, and those who are not impacted don't even know it. Those who stand by and do nothing should be automatically detained on pending manslaughter charges, and if a homicide investigation is warranted they can sit in custody while the detectives complete that. Stop letting them get away with this. Parents are losing children, children are losing their parents, and we are losing friends, while people who had an opportunity to seek help roam freely.

Many local ordinances do not allow "camping within city limits", & people who live outdoors (homeless, traveling musicians, artists) get either taken to jail, written a ticket, or warned about "next time this happens..." between the hours of midnight & 8 a.m. Often times shelters can fill up leaving no place to go, or individuals would rather just sleep outdoors. There are many circumstances-- it is the preservation of freedom that is most important. These ordinances have been put in place unfairly by committees who (usually) have no homeless people on their boards representing, & the subjugation involved against people without houses is certainly discriminatory.

The Fukushima disaster is not only far worse than you've been told; it's very likely going to be worse than you could ever imagine. The radiation leak isn't plugged, in other words, and another explosion -- which many experts believe might be imminent -- would release thousands of times more nuclear material into the open environment. Ultimately, the entire Northern hemisphere has been placed at risk by a bunch of corporate bureaucrats who thought building a nuclear facility in the path of a sure-to-happen tidal wave was a fantastic idea. Instead of acknowledging the problem and working to fix it like a responsible person would, our world's top politicians and ass-coverers have decided it is in their best short-term interests to play along with the TEPCO fairy tale which ridiculously pretends that radioactive leaks can be controlled by wishful thinking.

Genetically engineered food has not been proven to be safe for human consumption. The American Medical Association stated last year that testing of genetically engineered food is not comprehensive nor appropriate, and that no GE food product should be grown or sold until appropriate tests are developed.

Millions of Americans, from our youth to the adults, suffer from major depressive disorder every year. We must combat the problem of depression, anti-musive behavior, and anti-muses head on with the phenomenon of inspiration. We have done a great job at tackling the issue of depression; but now it's time to study and implement, across the nation, the study of inspiration, Musology. #Musology
