I been falsely arrested and maliciously prosecuted and wrongfully imprisoned yet I committed no crime & was found not guilty, this can be proven my wife also has been a victim of police rage and brutality. the public defenders office refuses to defend me or my wife at any level.I feel because I would not accept a plea deal and went to trial is the reason I was imprisoned as I said I never committed a crime and I was found not guilty by a jury. I'm asking if someone anyone would look at this case and see I was railroaded all because I would not plea to something I was not guilty of.me and my wife& daughters have been through 6 years of hell, the reason she's ITALIAN & AND I"m AFRICAN American.

Steve King has recently said that “For every one who’s a valedictorian, there’s another 100 out there that weigh 130 pounds, and they’ve got calves the size of cantaloupes because they’re hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert... These people would be legalized with the same act.”. The GOP leadership has come out against his remarks, but they supported him when he introduced an amendment to defund DACA in the DHS appropriations bill. They need to stop the hypocrisy and stop this amendment form moving forward.

The CT Department of Children and Families needs to take a stand to preserve families as they are and support parents in their choices to obtain special education support services and alternative therapies that their children need to address emotional, social behavioral challenges. Parents should not have to waive their rights to decide on providers or treatments for their children or for themselves in order to have the school and department of children and families put public dollars to work with services in place. Parents have a right to choice of providers and programming in or out of state. The practice of committing children to state custody on neglect petitions in these situations in order to avoid the cost of providing relevant and timely services for children in the care of their parents must stop.

First National Bank of Wellston foreclosed on her neighbor across the street—but got the wrong house, changed the locks and removed everything from Barnett's home. Meanwhile, the McArthur police chief has declared the case closed—even though Barnett doesn't have her stuff back and hasn't been paid. Katie estimates that she lost over $18,000 in personal property, itemized everything and has asked the bank to reimburse her. First National Bank has refused. We have seen countless national and local jobs bills blocked by the Republican Congress nationally and by PA Republicans statewide. This is totally detrimental to our state and nation Improvements in roads, bridges and infrastructure projects could produce countless jobs while increasing the tax base and general economy of PA and other states!

In Mississippi our governor is trying to take away the Medicaid. Over 90% of our elders are on either Medicaid or Medicare, along with over 95% of babies. If they are allowed to take this from the people then who will provide medical care? We as people struggle to pay bills,taxes,buy food,and etc. Going to the hospital and buying medicine these days are extremely pricey and the people just don't have the money to cover this!
