Protect The Wolves on ESAThe wolf had been around for many years, but now they will not be around in this world. The wolf had been stripped of from the Endanger Species Act (ESA) recently. After they been listed off from the program many hunters and other people hunt and kill these animals for there complaint about hurting the elks, moose, deer population also attacking livestock in the result of hunting the wolves. These killings are now affecting the wolves pack social structure, thus in totaling 1,859 wolves were killed and now in some areas where wolves live are decreasing and probably eradicate all the wolves. including wolf pups. The Mexican Grey Wolf is critically endangered and the Red Wolf which hunting is going on these two wolves won't survive much longer. I urge you to place them back on the (ESA) to fully protect the wolves from further harm and facing extinction.264 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Tracy

Don't cut Social SecurityThe Federal budget is probably the strongest statement of US priorities that we have. In a democracy, It should reflect the wishes of the people, but, according to polls, it doesn't. When most people do not agree with the opinions of the affluent, studies show that the wealthy prevail. They have been successful in the last few decades in removing tax burden from themselves and shifting it to the poor. That's why they want a flat tax, even lower corporate taxes even though our largest corporations pay NO tax, and they are keen to cut Social Security, Medicare, headstart, and other social programs. We Have Not Forgotten: Pass Gun Violence Prevention Laws NowLike the majority of Americans, I want my elected representatives to take strong steps to relieve the growing epidemic of gun violence. While no law or set of laws will end gun violence, we must act now to reduce it. I urge you to pass legislation now that would: • close background check loopholes to keep guns out of dangerous hands; and • ban military-style assault weapons and high-capacity magazines to reduce the risk of mass murder. These common sense solutions will save lives without compromising our Second Amendment rights.443 of 500 SignaturesCreated by Sandy Parker

Mr. President No Cuts To Social SecurityFamilies all across Pa count on their Social Security to make ends meet, from the young and disabled to the elderly whom are barely getting by. Any cuts to social security have the potential to financially devastate a individual or family in less than a month. Pa says NO Cuts.214 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Lynda Benigno

Save Social Security in New Mexico! The White House and congressional budget negotiators appear poised to make a deal on the backs of the most vulnerable people in this country. In the name of deficit reduction, cuts to Social Security remain on the table, despite the fact that they have nothing to do with the debt. Women, particularly women of color and women with disabilities, will end up paying the greatest price if chained CPI goes through. Already hampered by a lifetime of discriminatory wages and time spent out of the workforce or family caregiving, many women have only Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid to rely on in retirement. I have a 55 year old sister with disabilities who is at risk of being homeless due to the risk of the increasing cost of her assisted living situation. My 84 year old mother's retirement could also be adversely affected. Many of us in New Mexico have family members or are ourselves in tenuous living situations like these. New Mexico has been one of the hardest hit states in the country by the economic downturn, and we will continue to be negatively affected for some time to come.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Susan Crandall

Stop Importing Fracking Materials at the Port of OlympiaThe Port of Olympia Commissioners have been permitting import of ceramic proppants since mid-2012. These proppants are being used to frack the Bakken formation in North Dakota. The fossil fuel industry is not bothering to capture the natural gas when they frack the Bakken because there is more profitable oil to be extracted, so they are simply burning the natural gas as a waste material. The oil from the Bakken could be pumped for 30 years, further fueling the climate crisis if we don't step in and say NO. We can build a sustainable energy grid. Our children and grandchildren will thank us for making this change happen. The change begins when we all stop contributing to and facilitating the fossil fuel extraction industry. We ask the Port Commissioners to stop the import and movement of the fracking materials now.527 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Mike Coday
