• Congress: Protect Our Future, Require GMOs be Identified
We are a nation with problems. One of these problems lies in the ability of corporations like Monsanto to throw vast sums of money at Congress to bend the law to fit an underhanded scheme. Tell Congress that we have had enough- consumers deserve the right to know if what they are eating contains under-researched GM food substances-- after all, it is your right to know what you put in your body. Label GM foods now!

  • Social Learning
This Petition is to let teenagers in high schools & teachers use social networks to their learning experiences. 90 percent of teens have a profile on a social networking site. 69 percent of teens have a Facebook account. So why not use their social life & add their learning life into the mix as well? It'd make learning more interesting and fun for the teens, and more interactive.

  • Don't Serve Meat on Airlines
With all of the thousands of flights that happen every day, animals die. Wouldn't those eggs be better with some fresh fruit than an anemic piece of meat? Certainly humans can go 6 hours or less without eating meat.

  • We'll Hit You Where It Hurts, Republicans, We'll stop spending ALSO!
The Republicans are cutting all the important programs that help the Poor and Minorities. They claim that the Government is spending too much money, that we don't have! But, we know better, because common sense tells you that, you have to spend money to make money! You can't cut your way to success! So, we'll show the entire U.S. House and Senate, and Tea Party, that we will stop spending also! We'll boycott all Department Stores, and all Companies that get rich off of the poor and minorities. We will spend only for our necessities in our neighborhoods! We'll send e-mails around the Country and world, to tell our leaders that we've had enough of their lies and mess! They must not close our schools nor cut Programs, because it only sends us backwards not forward! When they start spending to enhance our world, we will stop the boycott and start spending again! We must see results by reopening schools and putting many people back to work in all areas, around the Country, in order to make our Country function again, at the highest level possible! Thanking you in advance for your help! The Power Of The People!

  • Divestment Campaign against Hedge Funds investing in Guns
OccupytheNRA (Twitter/Instagram/facebook @OccupytheNRA) is taking part in the #SilentNoMore campaign targeting hedgefunds and other Wall Street firms investing in Gun Manufacturer Stock including Owl Creek Asset Management and Impala who invested in gun stocks after the Sandy Hook Massacre along with others such as Black Rock. The silent Majority has been silent too long in the face of gun violence, and we are saying, "Enough, No More, We shall be Silent No More" while our children are murdered with guns even as the hedge funds profit from the sale of these very same military style weapons.

  • Support a Pathway to Citizenship that Keeps Families Together
A bill to fix our broken immigration system is being created in the U.S. Senate by the bipartisan "Gang of Eight." It would be unjust to support a bill which would result in a second class tier of workers who would most likely continue to be victims of poor working conditions, threats, detention centers, and extremely low pay by U.S. employers and private prisons who take advantage of the present immigration system.

  • Kohola Leo (Whale voice)
Although there is a National Marine Sanctuary for Humpback Whales in Hawaii, the Sanctuary has no regulations or protection for these endangered whales or their habitat. Hundreds of thousands of whales are dying annually from net entanglement, vessel strikes, military Sonar and other acoustic impacts, pollution, and fisheries by-catch. There are other human caused threats to whales including habitat degradation, and ocean acidification. The State of Hawaii co-manages the “Sanctuary”. Local fishermen have been pressuring State politicians to reject all regulations for the sanctuary, leaving whales and their habitat unprotected. The state politicians need to hear from the rest of us who do want regulations. Published research documents that our Ocean ecosystem is dying, and that protection such as speed limits, No-take Marine Protected Areas and pollution controls do help significantly. Help us be voice for the whales and get some protection for this endangered species in their mating and nursery grounds. What's the point of having a sanctuary if it's not safe? For more information on the threats to whales see www.koholaleo.com
