Everyone should join me, Shaina Rosenberg, in the fight for our children, friends and families against the opiate epidemic the Fentenyl outbreak. The fact is that West Virgina has the highest overdose rate in the country: 90.9%. With this statistic our children, friends and our families need to know in these tough times how to administer naloxone/Narcan in case of an emergency. For example, your teenager orders something off the internet they thought was a medicine and come to find out it was pure fentenyl, I hope and pray it never happens, but if it did, and if you knew how to administer Narcan, you can save your child's life. Another example would be your grandparent/mom or dad can't remember If they already took their pain medicine and they over take it, they start overdosing, if you or anyone in the house knew how to administer naloxone/Narcan it would save that family member's life. Narcan/naloxone can and will save many lives. I want to be able to help everyone learn the protocols, and administration of this life saver. ALL LIVES MATTER!

Unfortunately nothing is currently being done to address this problem. Advocating for solutions would greatly impact the chances of it being addressed.

Change that benefits the collective and represents the majority is always welcome. However, change that categorically benefits no individual or group and specifically targets an age group detrimentally should not be allowed. These decisions should be more representative of all members of the USTA and any changes should only be considered by the Committee, if it benefits the majority of its members, without discrimination.

Fossil fuel divestment aims to reduce carbon emissions by accelerating the adoption of the renewable energy transition through the stigmatization of fossil fuel companies. This includes putting public pressure on companies that are currently involved in fossil fuel extraction to invest in renewable energy. Divesting from Fossil Fuels will prevent Brown from furthering its contributions to the Climate Crisis.

The problem is the excessive noise generated by traffic on the bridge and road. It has always been loud, but the increased traffic, as well as resurfacing a number of years ago made it far worse. In addition, the constant use of “Jake Brakes” by semis creates an even noisier stretch of road. It is such that residents cannot open their windows due to the noise, as well as frequent sleep disruption. We are asking for maximum noise mitigation. Our understanding is that the side rails on the bridge will have a metal rail element on top of the concrete structure. This will only make the noise worse than it is now.

Why would I want other people in my neighborhood to sign this petition. I would hope that they would like to keep their family's & animals safe. From people speeding through the neighborhood. It only takes a split 2nd for someone to either get hurt or killed.

So many people are suffering with illness and disease ! We are sick of being poisoned! Stand up and make a difference! We the people!

We want to keep our children and animals safe and prevent accidents and injuries

I urge you to make sure that the affordable housing that is available is accessible to those who need it most, including low-income families, seniors, and people with disabilities. This will help lessen homelessness in our city. It is unacceptable that so many people are struggling to find safe and affordable housing in our city, and we must do everything we can to make sure that everyone has a place to call home.
