• Declaration of Rebirth for the United States of America Presented by the National Union of Americ...
    In order to form a more perfect union, we the undersigned reaffirm our belief in the basic equality and inalienable rights inherent to all humanity, as expressed in the Declaration of Independence; We underscore our commitment to the central aims of the Constitution of the United States of America: to establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for our common defense, promote the general welfare and secure the blessings of liberty for ourselves and our posterity; We stand together in our belief that the laws, policies and community life of this nation should reflect these fundamental principles and that the Constitution is the supreme Law of the land; Even though we may not always agree on how to achieve these ends, we agree in principle that the noblest ideals and ambitions expressed in the Declaration of Independence and Constitution of the United States of America serve us well as the foundation for our unity, our community and our strength as a nation;

  • Vote No for Fasttrack Landfill Expansion
    The Ontario County Board of Supervisors will vote to accept or reject the Final Environmental Impact Statement on November 15. Acceptance of this measure clears the way for landfill expansion and removes the leverage needed to address unmet environmental management concerns with Casella Waste Management. Finger Lakes Zero Waste and other concerned residents are urging the Board to slow down and require a Supplemental Environmental Assessment Statement. Sign this petition to urge them to vote no and pass the link on to others who care more about long-term impacts than short-term gain.

  • Impeach Gov. Rick Scott
    For his blatant disregard of the importance and significance of the voting process, which is the cornerstone of our Democracy, and for his attempts to impede a process which our founding fathers held sacred, Governor Scott has shown that his is not capable of leading the State of Florida and should be removed from office

  • End American Horse Slaughter
    "Horse slaughter is the way by which irresponsible people get rid of their unwanted horses quickly and for a profit. Every year, well over 140,000 equines from the United States are slaughtered for human consumption to satisfy the taste for horsemeat in Europe and Japan where it is considered a delicacy. Currently, these equines are being transported across the Canadian and Mexican borders where they are slaughtered and their meat is then exported overseas selling for between $15 and $25 per pound. While there are no horse slaughterhouses operating in the US now, that could easily change due to a movement by the small, but powerful special interest groups that have successfully blocked passage of federal legislation banning horse slaughter for nearly a decade. • Extend early voting
    The shortened number of days for early voting caused unusually long waiting period, some for as long as six to eight hours. This prevented voters the opportunity to vote. Extending another day for early voting will provide voters an opportunity to exercise their right to vote.

  • FAIR ELECTION -URGENT!!!!
    In the interest of fair elections we are petitioning to postpone the November 6, 2012 national election until all voters in the areas devastated by Hurricane Sandy are given an equal right to vote. The storm has displaced hundreds of thousands of residents along the East Coast. Many people are still without power, phones or any form of communication. Many people have no means of locating their polling place, or getting there to vote. If this election is held as scheduled, on Tuesday November 6. 2012, many Hurricane Sandy victims will be disenfranchised from the right to vote. To ensure a fair national election it must be postponed at least until after power is restored.

    Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil does not belong in plastic bottles. It does not taste or store as well as it does in glass bottles. There are also safety concerns about chemical reaction toxicity between the oil and the plastic. I have contacted them but got no response.

  • Constitutional Amendment to limit the term of US President to one six year term
    If a US president has a one term limit of 6 years, he/she could get things done rather than spend 2 years learning the job and another 2 years running for re-election.
