My wife waited in line to vote at early voting and the burden on the state economy and poll workers will be crushing.

The average person in the U.S. every year spends more than $500 on holiday gifts and almost $200 on cards, flowers and food. By spending at least half that at an independent business makes a huge impact in your local community. That's because money spent locally is more likely to stay local, which helps support local schools, local police, local roads.

The cost of continuing of Daylight Saving Time at the expense of the needs of our bodies is high. Studies have shown that early sunrise is vitally important to mental, physical, and spiritual health. These same studies have also shown that early sunrise benefits many people such as commuters, families, schools, farmers, people sensitive to depression and other mental health fluctuations, people with cardiovascular issues, and people with sleep issues. Daylight Saving Time takes the benefit of early sunrise away from the majority of the people who need it. Additionally, by beginning DST in March, sunrise is pushed even farther back than on the shortest day of the year, December 21. For anyone living on the western-most edge of a time-zone, this later sunrise can be even more detrimental for Americans. As studies have shown, Daylight Saving Time is unnecessary for the average citizen. Let us increase the quality of our lives by honoring our bodies' need for early sunrise and eliminating Daylight Saving Time.

Indiana Government Officials and employees, including Judges, should adhere to and comply with the laws same as the citizens they compel to abide by laws or face personal and professional liability and sanctions; if they are found to have acted illegally, negligently, maliciously, incompetently and/or arbitrarily at variance with the best interests of their constituents, they should be held responsible and liable the same as regular citizens.

Good people go to prison because the laws regulating this drug, has it as a schedule 1 controlled substance. The penalty in Federal court has a minimum of 5 years unless its changed. I'm currently at the affect of it, along with my husband and brother.

Those in state and federal government are required to take and keep an Oath to get into - and stay in - the position they occupy. They need to be held accountable for not doing as sworn. Not keeping the oath as required hurts all American citizens and those legally allowed to be here in the USA since many illegal laws, bills executive orders, have been implemented which is, and can be injurious to "We the People". I am calling on all US citizens to require that those who do not keep the Oath be immediately removed from office, and replaced; if the offense is serious enough to also be arrested and prosecuted for their crime(s).

Every person has, is, or will be affected by Compound Interest. It is the modern equivalent of slavery that impacts us all. In a last-minute directive issued Friday night that could disenfranchise thousands of Ohioans and tip the outcome of the election, Republican Secretary of State Jon Husted changed requirements for submitting provisional ballots on Election Day. The directive requires voters, not election officials, to fill out a confusing form listing the type of ID they provided to vote. This new directive is a clear violation of Ohio law and puts even more votes at risk of not being counted. Secretary Husted has also instructed election officials to not count ballots where that part of the form has not been correctly filled out by the voter.

“The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection produces incomplete lab reports and uses them to dismiss complaints that Marcellus Shale gas development operations have contaminated residential water supplies and made people sick, according to court documents.” When I read this opening sentence in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette I almost fell out of my chair. This seemed like something from a bad movie from the 1980’s about how the big bad corporate lobbyists have influenced government watchdogs by contributing millions to the state’s governor. But it’s not a movie. It’s happening now. Gov. Corbett received $1.3 million from drilling interests in his campaign for governor. He also received another $6 million from organizations affiliated with the drillers. And in return the drillers received a Department of Environmental Protection that may be routinely falsifying reports to homeowners who ask for their water to be tested. When homeowners suspect that their water has been contaminated by drilling in their area, they can ask the DEP to check for metals, organic material and volatile organic compounds (VOC). Depositions of two DEP employees allege that the DEP tests for all contaminants, but omits some of the most dangerous contaminants in their reports to the homeowners. According to the Post-Gazette, “The omissions include heavy metals, including lithium, cobalt, chromium, boron and titanium, some of which are human carcinogens or toxics, as well as volatile organic compounds that are associated with hydraulic fracturing fluids.” If it is true, then it is criminal. Everyone involved should go to jail for putting Pennsylvania’s families at risk. State Representative Jesse White (D, Allegheny, Beaver, Washington) has called for an investigation for “alleged misconduct and fraud.” We agree. PA’s enforcement agencies are too tightly controlled by Tom Corbett to conduct an independent investigation. So we’re calling on U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate whether these allegations are true, and if so, to find out who ordered reports that mislead the public and put us all at risk of cancer by hiding the contamination of our water and air.

All too of ten political candidates BUY their positions. This is not the American way. A candidate should only receive support fron an individual that could vote for that candidate. The present presidential election is spending many millions of dollars given by big business, labor unions, super funds, this should not be allowed.

I have watched during the past 40 years as the Republicans have used their influence to tilt the playing field toward the upper 1% and it has worked. It is time to realize that it is immoral to vote Republican when the future of our planet is riding on this next election. It is immoral to put more power into the hands of the very wealthy and it is immoral to expect the 99% to pay for the mistakes and risk taking of the 1%.
