WellPoint Inc owner of Anthem Blue Cross of Ca is planing to out source medical staff- to shift clinical service and decision-making on medical care over seas, primarily to India and the Philippians. Already insurance companies have been out sourcing data processing, accounting and other jobs. This is contributing to our national economic and jobless situation.

My daughter and I were online at The Gap looking for well priced clothing. Much to our dismay we came across the "Skinny Girls" campaign, with clothing that is guaranteed to make most girls starve themselves in order to be able to fit into them. The message is dangerous and being targeted to even the pre-school age consumers. With eating disorders close to being an epidemic, retailers should know better.

Since we cannot control the guns without causing NRA backlash to all the politicians who are controlled by them, maybe we can control the ammunition. Gun running in Pennsylvania is a real problem. Also in Delaware where the guns for the Colorado tragedy came from. My Pennsylvania state has become more like Alabama. Our governor is a really mean man who has cut most the funding for handicapped and under privileged people. If you could tie him to the Sandusky incident when he was Attorney General then we could impeach him out of office. PLEASE

A million New Yorkers lack the basic security of paid sick days at their jobs. They are waitresses and cooks, cashiers and day care providers. When they have no choice but to go to work sick, it's not healthy for anyone. If you have paid sick days, it's easy enough to take them for granted. If you get sick, you stay home to recover. If you need to bring your child to the doctor, you go, without fear of losing pay or being fired. No one should have to choose between their job and their family's health, especially in difficult times like this. It’s time to ensure all working women and men in New York City have the same basic security. A bill pending in the New York City Council that would allow New Yorkers to earn paid sick days has a two-thirds majority of support on the City Council. But so far, Council Speaker Christine Quinn hasn't allowed a vote. I want to see our American economic make a turnaround

Since Citizens United monies have been pouring in from very wealthy oligarchs and plutocrats both in this country and abroad. Now is the time to ask the people abroad to join with the people here to speak out THROUGH OUR MEDIA for democracy and a fair vote in this country uncontaminated by the lies and voter suppression tactics being bought in this important upcoming election.

The Progressive Self-Adjusting Flat (SAFT) is fair, lowers taxes for everyone, eliminates budget deficits and eliminates the National Debt within a predetermined period (around 15 years or less). If adopted, SAFT will bring confidence in the American economy back to Americans as well as to the rest of the world, which is so dependent on America's economic health. SAFT uses an EXCEL spreadsheet (Tax Calculator) based on the IRS's own spreadsheets to achieve its ultimate goal of a "Revenue-Neutral" budget after the National Debt is eliminated. SAFT sets permanent Tax rates of which the lowest is 5% for incomes between $15,000 and $50,000 and the highest is 20% for incomes over $10,000,000. With "full" employment, once the National Debt is paid off, the SAFT permanent tax rates might even have to be set lower to maintain a Revenue-Neutral State.

Photo Radar has been imposed on Prescott Valley, Arizona residents and visitors since 2006. The photo radar is outsourced to an Australian company called Redflex Traffic Systems; a significant amount of money collected from photo-radar citations ends up being sent to this Australian company. Photo radar is a drain on the local economy, and an unfriendly message to local residents and visitors to our home town. Town officials state that photo radar improves safety. Yet many residents note erratic driving behavior of some drivers near photo radar installations: sudden speeding up or sudden slowing down, even placing hands in front of the face while driving near photo radar cameras to avoid identification. Is this safer? Could photo radar in fact be causing as many problems as it solves? In some cities and locations of Maricopa County around Phoenix, Arizona, photo radar has now been removed for a number of reasons. It is time for Prescott Valley to follow suit. Tell Prescott Valley's elected officials to end all photo radar and support the local economy rather than outsource local wealth to Australia.
