Experts say Libra is a huge threat to democracy and could take down the entire global economy. Facebook wants to shift control over our entire monetary system from central banks and democratically-elected governments to a private table of massive corporations. House Financial Services Chairwoman Maxine Waters and a coalition of grassroots groups like us have raised serious concerns about Facebook’s currency proposal. Libra threatens national sovereignty, consumer protections, a competitive market, and privacy rights. And its dark money system leaves it open for abuse by money launderers. Zuckerberg needs to be stopped.

DHS top employees like Taylor likely saw images of families in tears as they were torn apart, received detailed briefings on the psychological trauma it was causing, read internal reports of widespread sexual abuse and torture -- and CHOSE to work to keep those inhumane policies going. Defending a corrupt President and protecting his interests in the face of overwhelming evidence against him is a supreme dereliction of duty for any Senator or Congressman who puts their fealty to Donald Trump above their sworn duty to the Constitution of the United States of America.
