Remove Mike Jankanish From Teaching At Wilson HighAs an alumni of Wilson High School, I find an open racist working as a history teacher unacceptable for our city's children. Mr. Jankanish's recent op-ed in The News Tribune opposing a bill encouraging ethnic studies displays his racism for all to see. He should not be teaching in our schools. https://www.thenewstribune.com/opinion/article227315034.html?fbclid=IwAR3ab-_UjExQvKvQixR-KqF2yxWK5H5TJ9vw0Gr6kyy0m4mD0ekq1nC1Flg72 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jack Cameron

Skateboarding is not a crime! We need your help to make skateboarding legal on campus. It's something that a lot of us love to. Skateboarding has giving people purpose and its our job to show every student that skateboarding is not a crime. Students should be allowed to skate before school, during lunch, and after school on campus!2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Joseph Zinnanti

Please Pass SB 124 Out of CommitteeI want to put solar panels on my roof in Wichita but Westar would be allowed to charge me an unfair higher rate than everyone else. This new bill will prevent all electric companies from punishing people like me!170 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Lori Lawrence

Bring American Sign Language to AverettThe school wants to become more included and diverse, which i think includes expanding our curriculum to include different types of foreign languages besides French and Spanish. Both myself and others would like the opportunity and option to take American Sign Language courses.146 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Jenique Martin

ABC - Fire Meghan McCain from The ViewThe American public is at one of the greatest crossroads in political history, we have reached a crucial moment where our democracy itself may be in crisis. Those who use their public platform as a bully pulpit for mendacity and deception do not have the right to incite the wounds this nation is trying desperately to heal.120 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Taryn Jay

Eliminate Daylight Savings in CaliforniaIt’s a nightmare each year having to switch over to daylight savings time when we can easily keep standard time all year. Switching over means losing a whole hour of sleep, and I get up very early in the morning to go swimming. Daylight savings time does not save energy; nowadays, more and more people are getting up and leaving early in the morning for work.24 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Allison Higgins

Thomas Selby Ellis III resignationJudge T.S. Ellis III neglected his official duty by sentencing Paul Manafort well below the United States Sentencing Guidelines for the crime he was convicted. This sends a clear and disparaging message of bias to power and White Privilege to American citizens.47 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Angela Smith

Women's National Basketball Tournament Should be on Broadcast TVThe Women's National Basketball Tournament should get the same coverage and exposure as the Men's National Basketball Tournament. There's no reason why the women's tournament games shouldn't be on broadcast TV like the men's.102 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Ricardo Jensen

Rebuilding Herbert Hoover High School and Clendenin ElementaryThe Elk River community has been waiting too long, and can’t seem to get a straight answer from any local, state or federal agency as to what the hold up on replacing the schools. We have been patient. We initially believed what we were told, and accepted it. Enough is enough! We have an entire community of children whose entire high school experience will be in a portable high school, which, is of course a joke among other schools. We have children who will have been in a shared elementary from 3rd-5th grades, a shared middle school from 6-8 grades and a portable high school for potentially 1-2 years, depending on exactly when, and if the new high school is built. This is inexcusable. To live 20 minutes from the Capital of WV and see families that are still waiting on their FEMA buy back funds is reprehensible. It is impossible for the area to bounce back from the catastrophics losses of family homes and community schools without at least some faith that our government is going to do as they said they would. We as tax payers have a right to know what is going on, and our children deserve better. If you can imagine yourself or your child in this situation, I am certain you would use everything within your power to investigate the issues, and immediately begin to right the wrongs that have been done.1,022 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Melissa Canterbury
