Since 2015 the city of Vallejo has been faced with a multinational corporate plan to develop a marine terminal and a slag cement plant on our waterfront on the site of a historic flour mill on the east shore of the Napa River. We propose a healthier and sustainable alternative via the staged development of Riverwalk in order to grow Vallejo and Mare Island as a historic rivertown destination midway between San Francisco and Napa.

This Trump Policy to separate children from their parents was a Donald Trump legislation and supported by his White House, Jeff Sessions, Kirstjen Nielsen, and the GOP. They are the ones who should be paying the bills for this disgusting and immoral policy not the tax payer of this country.

Although the comment stooped to a new low, the fact he refuses to apologize for such insensitivity is unacceptable. We are asking T-Mobile to stop getting rich off Lewandowski’s hate. Lewandowski will also receive a cut of the fees paid to the lobbying firm on the T-Mobile contract. I say T-Mobile should donate that money towards reuniting immigrant children back with their families instead.

Secretary Nielsen has abused her power to mistreat refugees and hide girls and babies in an attempt to prevent press coverage of their locations, treatment, and living conditions. Secretary Nielsen has allowed children to be traumatized and abused and done absolutely nothing to stop it, even admitting she has no idea what is happening on her watch. This is a gross abuse of power and an abdication of her responsibilities as head of Homeland Security. There is no excuse, she must resign.

These are each courses that are invaluable for certain career paths, and so in demand that many students are repeatedly denied entry through the lottery system. This affects all 3L students, not just students who will be unable to take the Spring courses due to study abroad or pro bono scholars. There are far too many of us, we will not all be able to take the Spring courses.

I have Trigeminal Neuralgia, an unbearable disease, and know thousands more like me through Facebook support groups are having our meds cut and taken away! We are one disease; so many chronically ill patients and people coming home from surgeries are suffering also and our doctors don't like it! Stop these Pain Clinics from causing so much harm and causing more deaths and suicides by cutting and taking away our medicines and just watching us, the chronically ill, go through excruciating, unbearable pain!! Bright Horizons is the biggest provider of early childhood education in the world. Its investors include Bain Capital, and it is a huge, publicly traded company. As a parent of a toddler enrolled at a Bright Horizons Center, I know they have world class expertise in early childhood development. I strongly feel that Bright Horizons should take a stand against the forcible separation of parents and children, declaring it to be the torture that it is.

The Driftless Disc Golf Initiative is an effort to support sustainable growth of disc golf in the Driftless region through community organization and participation. We believe disc golf is an excellent way to utilize public land to promote health and wellness in the community, while preserving the natural beauty of the landscape, and contributing to economic development in the region. We believe the Driftless region's unique landscape perfectly suits the sport of disc golf, and could lead to exceptional courses which draw players from across the country to visit the Driftless.

On November 7, 2018, we don’t want to be wringing our hands thinking the election results were fishy, but there’s no way to recount or check if the results were right. In order to have secure elections we need: - Paper: Paper ballot and scanner voting systems - Audits: A check to ensure the vote totals reported by scanners actually match the paper ballots that voters cast - Secure Voter Rolls: Secure voter registration databases with paper back ups We know what we need to do, but in far too many states, election officials at the state and local level need funding and political will to make it happen. Tell your election officials it’s time to secure the vote.
