Facebook enabled Russian interference in the United States election in 2016, but refuses to provide a full account to the public. In fact, it has recently removed data that allowed independent researchers to understand the nature and scale of the problem. American citizens that use Facebook deserve to know how they were exposed to Russian disinformation and propaganda. Facebook should provide this data to users in an application that makes it easy to understand. Users should be able to see how content and advertising messages from identified Russian sources appeared in their timeline, whether they interacted with such media, and basic metrics that quantify their exposure.

In the days since the sexual assault allegations against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein came to light, millions of brave people have taken to Facebook to share their stories of sexual assault and harassment using the #metoo hash tag. It has become an important moment in the battle against this type of behavior. This type of public pressure is critical in holding people in power like Cliff Hite accountable for their actions.

My nephew stumbled upon a video where people fed live baby animals to their lizards. He was very upset and cried for hours. There was not an age-restriction on the video either. I checked out the channel and the youtuber claimed the channel was educational and child friendly. However nearly every video was someone filming live animals being chased and torn apart by their captive animals. It was very revolting and violent and should not be scene by any child or be allowed on youtube for demonstrating animal cruelty.

This petition has been put into effect because the citizens and taxpayers of St. Louis City deserve to have influence on the educational decisions made for St. Louis Public Schools (SLPS). As of June 15, 2007, the State Board of Education disenfranchised the people of St. Louis. This decision led to the St. Louis Board of Education being stripped of the governing duties it once held. Duties of the St. Louis Board of Education have been decreased specifically to auditing and reporting about issues affecting our district. The St. Louis Board of Education are elected by and accountable to taxpayers. The St. Louis Public School District is currently governed by three political appointees, collectively known as the Special Administrative Board (SAB). Duties of the Special Administrative Board include making financial decisions and contract negotiations for the District. The Special Administrative Board are led by their Appointers: the Governor, the Mayor, and the President of the Board of Aldermen. Since the Special Administrative Board's implementation in 2007: • Average of 268 teachers have resigned each year • Approximately 10,000 students have left the district • Many parents feel disconnected and have moved their children to charter/private schools, or to other districts There is no evidence that an appointed board running a school district is more effective than a board elected by voters. The appointed board has no accountability or transparency to taxpayers regarding their decisions being made for SLPS students. Let's put an end to taxation without representation!

Betty Price during a GA House meeting on barriers to health care. In her own shocking words "I don't want to say the quarantine word-but I guess I just said it. Is there an ability, since I would guess that public dollars are expended heavily in prophylaxis and treatment of this condition, so we have a public interest in curtailing the spread... Are there any methods legally that we could do that would curtail the spread? It seems to me it's almost frightening the number of people who are living that are potentially carriers, well they are carriers, with the potential to spread, whereas in the past they died more readily and then at that point they are not posing a risk."
