In 2018, wild horses are in danger of heading to the slaughter houses. If we can tell congress to think of better solutions under the new budget now in place we won't see them end up in our super market. People cherish our nation's Wild Horses and we all need to tell congress that by thinking of a better solution than to have them slaughtered there are other ways to deal with the 2018 budget.

As Virginians who want a pro-business, pro-equality future for Virginia, we need leaders who will move our Commonwealth forward.

We must push our politicians to represent us now. So many need to have these bills passed now. The people of this country who are counting on us can't wait 2 years or 4 years for these bills.

I have a cousin married to a Chinese immigrant who I have treated as family, and who have a bi-racial daughter. I have always been fond of - and in fond support of - the diverse range of Asian culture, customs, history, food, arts, philosophies, and women. I have already sent to Japan's Abe Shinzo my most profound apologies for the xenophobic and racist state of my country under false President Trump and his cronies, along with apologies to Asian forums including the Japanese-American Citizens League and National Pacific Asian American Women's Forum. I will not stand by as these people are openly ridiculed, neglected and even harassed and/or threatened, in either my current state or nation as a whole. I will fight until the rights are fully and permanently recognized as true contributors to the American dream.

Three million popular votes were ignored by the Electoral College in the last election. The phrase "You're vote counts!" means nothing to me now, so why should I vote in the next election?

These two earned benefits have been on Ryan and other Republican House members' wish list for over 10 years. We have to stop them again because too many people, not just seniors, rely on these earned benefits. Indeed, Paul Ryan benefitted from Social Security survivor benefits himself!

Congress needs to work for the people and needs to make bipartisan decisions. One party rule disenfranchises half the population of our country. Splitting control of congress will force dialogue and cooperation to find solutions to the problems our country faces

It's time for Democrats to create healthcare legislation that benefits all Americans and improves upon both Medicare and the Affordable Care Act. Moderate Democrats have long said that Obamacare should be improved, not repealed. The American public increasingly supports the Progressive position that healthcare is a right and Americans need a healthcare plan that provides universal coverage. It's time for Democrats to lead. It's time for universal coverage. And it's time for the Democratic party to get it's act together. Our success requires that Democrats put aside their differences and unify around our common goals.

Like many other Americans, I stayed up late the other night watching the game. Except it was C-SPAN, and it is not a game. Let us stop Senator Roy Blunt from furthering his career of political evasion at the expense of the hardworking people of Missouri. He voted to kick us off of our health insurance. Let's vote to kick him out of office in 2022.

Republican efforts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act have not been in good faith. The CBO scores for each bill are dismal and would result in significant losses of insurance, increased costs in premiums and deductibles, and the removal of certain insurance coverages. Senator Dan Sullivan voted in step with his party, clearly putting party over the right thing to do. Following Sen. Lisa Murkowski's "no" vote on attempt 2, Pres. Trump allegedly directed Interior Secretary Zinke to call both Sullivan and Murkowski to threaten Alaskan interests if their vote on the "skinny" repeal was not a "no". This is coercion, and is being investigated.

To hold Rep. Bacon for his healthcare votes that would have left 165,000 Nebraskans without coverage and 786,000 Nebraskans with pre-existing conditions would deny life-saving coverage.
