  • Replace "marriage" with "civil union" on all government issued certificates
Often times, opponents of gay marriage say that "marriage" carries a certain religious sanctity. If ALL unions between two people are recognized ONLY as civil unions, then individuals will be left to determine whether or not their union is a marriage. This will allow any two people the ability to enjoy the societal benefits of joining together in the eyes of the state without having to infringe upon people's views on marriage and the religious connotation it may or may not carry.

  • Make Voting Accessible and Convenient in Ohio
Voters in Summit County can expect long lines, confusion about times, and where they can vote during the upcoming early voting period for the 2012 election. That’s because the Summit County Board of Elections is deadlocked on extending hours for early voting and choosing an early voting location that is accessible and convenient for voters. It doesn’t have to be this way though. The Board of Elections can vote again and if one of the Republican members switches their vote, Summit County voters will have more flexibility and accessibility making early voting easy and convenient.

  • Birth Right to Vote for Citizens
Allow every Natural Born U.S. Citizen without Photo I.D. to VOTE ************************************************************************ Dear Attorney General Holder, The 1965 Voting Rights Act is legislation in which America can be truly proud. However, in the past two years it has come under assault by politicians who seem to care more about Winning at any cost, than about fairness and dignity. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, along with countless other Americans, gave their lives for the freedoms so many enjoy today and one of the most important initiatives they fought for was the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Today, we have States that are seeking to change the election process to such a degree that discrimination is inevitable. The proponents of these changes have managed to get Voter I.D. Laws changed at the state level, and now it is up to you Sir, to decide whether to allow this injustice to continue, or to do what is fair and just, and approved by WE THE peoples, " Right To Vote Action" Please don't let the rights that so many Americans fought and died for to be for nothing. Don't approve any changes to the election process that may Disenfranchise any American Voter. Lets put these useless Voter I.D. laws to use for the people! ************************************************************************
