About the new voting rules that you must show your picture ID. Isn't this a little racist, in this day & age? How about the people who have trouble with their eyesight, do not drive, and are elderly, guess that doesn't matter. Please put a stop to this nonsense now. If something happens out there because of these voter rules how would you like your new ID rules to be the cause of it. I would not like to take the responsibility for passing these laws.

Recently Chick Fil A took an even greater stance against equal rights by donating a large sum of money to organizations that support anti-gay rights. My petition is about the way Law Enforcement handles complaints of Stalking. Stalking is a serious psychologically debilitative, and egregious crime to both women and men. However the laws are not strict enough in New York State and the Country. It is not unusual when law enforcement is informed that they treat the victim as though they were the perpetrator, and so do the Courts. This needs to stop! We need stricter laws, which would stop the Stalker, and give them longer prison sentences for their act.

It seems that with as many people know that Sally Ride was the first woman in space, few people realized that she was also the first LGBT woman in space. She and her partner were together for 27 years. Since she is a national hero and a personal hero to soo many, I'm petitioning that her partner be given full rights.

If our government refuses to accept our American birth certificates at the borders, and are now demanding we all get passports, it needs to implement a program for everyone on limited income so that we can get passports at reduced fees!! In border towns, we have duty free shops on US sides and only need STEP ON MEXICAN BORDER, not enter country.
